Hey fellow CAGs, I have a mint condition Resistance 2. Game comes complete with manual and case.

Looking to trade it for mint condition Last Remnant. Any takers?

Hey guys, just thought I would ask the CAG community if they might be interested in buying a small modest comic collection. All modern age stuff. I have about 4 small boxes full of comics. I am about to purchase a home so i need to get rid of this stuff. If anyone is interested or if anyone could give me advice on where i can sell it besides ebay or craigslist (Too man scammers on craigs list), I would appreciate it. Thanks guys.

Call me crazy, but a comic book store might buy them...

I was raped by a local comic store when I sold my collection back when I was ending my teenage years and wanted a vehicle instead of boxes full of mylar-wrapped nerd currency.

Looks like I won in the end, I got about $300-$400 for it when it was worth about $2,000. Nowadays they don't seem to be worth much more than the cost to ship them.

The original Death In The Family storyline from Batman (the death of Robin) comics were worth a pretty penny back then, last week someone sold the set of 3 on eBay for $5 + $5 shipping...

If you want offers from CAG, you'll need to let us know what the majority of your titles are. Regardless of size, there's always about 3-5 titles that overpower the rest of the collection (mine was Batman/X-factor/Spider-man)

I'm trying to get rid of my huge collection of comics. What I've been doing is posting them on the different sites like here. Also depends what years your comics are if from the 90's you won't get much. The newer stuff has a higher price. You can also try Comic Book Shops but if they are like the one around me you'll only get about 5¢ each.

You could figure out how much it would cost a small box and add a little more to that and give a quick description and sell on here.

I'm only looking for TPB and hard back comics.

Good luck on selling them.

Yea post the issues and the condition who knows someone will bite there seems to be a lot of CAGs who enjoy comic books

I have the entire civil war run. Every comic that was related at the time. I dont know if your looking for stuff like that or newer.

Yeah the best idea is to make a list and then post the lists up and around at internet sites. Comic books later than the mid 80s have very little re-sell value (i.e. less than cover usuallly). Personally I put up my extra comics at around 50 cents to a dollar here and a couple other sites. Depending on what you have and how quickly you want to get rid of them you might want go lower than that for prices. Sites where I post stuff are:

http://www.comicbookclassifieds.com/ (Seems pretty active with posting, sold a decent amount there over time)

http://comicbooktradelist.freeforums.org/ (Used to be a cheapass gamer member who would pimp this site every time someone mentioned comics. Its got a small membership but I have sold a few books there)

http://www.comicscorral.com/forums/index.php (Only been on a month, nothing much happened there as of yet.)

Anyone use any other sites? There are a few paid sites but i steer clear from them.

And cheapassgamer has actually been quite good for me as well, its only second to comic book classifieds in total books sold. We have a decent number of comic enthusiasts around here.

Such posting will help move some of the books and then if you have leftovers you can always go the ebay route. Ebay will get you low prices but will get them gone. Series runs probably sell the best on ebay in my experience.
