Resistance: FoM and Ratchet & Clank Future: ToD 2-pack $99.99 shipped at Newegg

strange how these two games are the two ps3 games i've been planning on buying... $20 off, ive been holding off on resistance though since it seems over due for a price drop
 
Yep, true true. Now if it were Uncharted instead of Resistance, that would be more like it. (Still, that would be about $49.99 per game, which still doesn't pacify my cheap ass.)
 
mmm, yea, i got Resistance for $30 from a one-day sale at some obscure online site about 6 months ago. this is a good deal for people who want both games now but they should just wait for Resistance to get a price drop since it's a launch title.
 
I have a feeling Resistance will be seeing a universal price drop soon..or at least i'm hoping for one. So i'm holding off.
 
I thought that Resistance would have gotten a price drop nearly a month ago. I guess Sony didn't want to start a PS3 Greatest Hits program until they had more than 1 game to put in it. :lol:

Yeah, but I don't see it dropping any time soon, unless PS3 gets another exclusive killer-app shooter, since it is really one of the only "must-haves" for the system to date.

Unreal Tournament just came out, and is a pretty decent option, also there's Warhawk, which some people really love. Haze comes out in mid-January, but god only knows whether that will be amazing, horrible, or somewhere in between.

Whether there's any other top notch exclusive shooters doesn't really matter. They should drop the price soon anyways, because I doubt many people will buy a game that's more than a year old for $60.
 
While it's a good deal going off of MSRP and how desireable both games are, it's a major fail since Resistance can be obtain semi-cheaply. And you could easily replicate the 10 dollar savings on Ratchet and Clank too.
 
Resitance has its very first price drop next week to 49.99

But since its one of the best selling ps3 games, might be a while til it hits Greatest Hits ..

true that, and I think there's some kind of threshold in the number of games that are out for the system for the greatest hits to start showing up.

truth be told, I don't think the PS3 is quite there. I hope I'm wrong and it's soon, I definitely want to play some RFOM again...kind of regretting trading it in
