Resurrected: GameStop 10% off exp 10/05

I just picked my Halo 3 last night and used the coupon on that and she also rang up my wireless controller and all together it only cost me 83 bucks. Sweet deal considering my controller only costed 35.99.
My use of it on Halo 3 Leg Ed was denied on some BS reasoning that it couldn't be used on H3 CE or H3 LE.
Call BS on em Shrike. If you want, I'll scan my Halo 3 Legendary receipt and send it your way, so you can throw it in their face.
Can the coupon be used on a used game or does it have to be new?
It can be used for your next purchase, shouldn't matter if it's new or used.

this also happend with my collector's edition. if i can find another ill just use the coupon there and return the full price one

I used the coupon to purchase gba Magical Quest $6.99 after the coupon and edge card discounts plus tax the total came out to a little over $6.00.:)

All coupons work with edge, but not with any other coupon (unless specifically stated). As far as the code on this one, the employees have been generous (or dolts) in doing the "promo not found", as the auto-code doesn't work on any H3 aside from the plain ol' regular one. Same on Stranglehold, for some reason... Trust a brother. Doesn't work on hardware, either. If it worked for you, well, that's why I choose to hire competent chaps. Ain't cheap, but it's worth it.

I'll try this on zelda:pH tomorrow the GS near me said they didn't get any today when I called hopefully they get it tomorrow.

Thanks for the coupon OP I don't think I ever got one like this when I registered my email.. ah well.

Just bought Dai Senryaku New for $9.99 at Gamestop, dude could not find the used copy for $7.99. Oh well! Been trying to get this cheap off ebay for sometime but finally gave up at this price.

I bought Soul Nomad and LoZ:pH on the same receipt and the coupon only discounted Soul Nomad. Last time it worked on two items. It's a damn shame I didn't notice until after I got home. But it's not worth the hassle of going back there.
Would this work on a preorder if I paid in full, like for Rock Band?
I'm wondering the same thing - would be great for Rock Band/GH. It doesn't explicitly say anywhere on the coupon that you can't use it for preorders.

Anybody tried this?
From my experience, you can't.

You need to have valid coupon the day you pick up your game.
Yeah, I imagined as much.

Although, it would be terribly fun to go terrorize some Gamestop employees due to the exclusion of any note about fully paid preorders. That is, after all, a purchase is it not?

The clerk needed to put the discount on to the games manually. He probably did it for one and thought it was done.

Preorders aren't purchases. It's basically "Hey, you seem like a respectable chap! Hold my $50 until I decide to use it, k?" While the clerk says "Yeah, wutever." That's why if you don't pick up a game you preordered, it becomes credit. It basically is credit, just with a specific target in mind.
