Retro Duo Portable HELP WITH AC ADAPTER!

Ok, so I am desperately trying to play some super famicom games (ROMANCING SAGA!!!) but I don't have a famicom. I know my retro duo plays famicom games, but I don't have an AC adapter for it anymore.

So here's the question. I found my ps vita adapter and it fits in the slot fine. It is a 5V, 2000 mA adapter, and I believe the specs on the RDP adapter is 9V, 750 mA.

Can I use this to charge my RDP? It lights up when I plug it in...but it is safe??

You want an adapter that's rated the same or higher than the device you're trying to power. The Vita adapter is fine current wise, but volts are too low... I don't think it'll turn on.
