returning a preordered game to gamestop.

long story short i preordered Halo master chief collection a while ago in store so i had to put $5 down, but i recently got in on the Best buy GCU so i rather get it there (and future new games) since i get 20% off. So i figured i just pick up the game at gamestop when it comes out and then return it a few days later. Is GS going to give me store credit or actual cash back.

You can just cancel the pre-order, and they'll return it to whatever method you paid with (some GS even ask you which you prefer), so you don't even have to pick it up really.

Just tell them you want to cancel your pre-order.
