I recently bought Power Stone Collection of ebay and i was wonder what u guys, the ones who bought it, think of the game?? The game was sick on dreamcast especially PS2, let me know if its similar to the dreamcast version... thxs a lot

Loading times are ridiculous but it's still pretty fun. It does get a little too hectic for such a small screen but it's the same game.

The game is cheap now, so it probably won't hurt to pick it up. But like depascal22 said, the loading time is a bit long. I think I would enjoy the game more if I had people to play versus against...T__T

And that sums it up. Go get it.

I'd like to add though, the new weapons for Power Stone 1 really add a lot to the game. Which makes it even more clear which of the two are better.

I was never a big fan of power stone; however I want the game because it reminds me of the dreamcast days.

I was a huge Power Stone fan back in the day (picked it up as my fourth DC game). Having said that, this collection really isn't worth buying because of the huge load times (even at a cheap price). It's to the point where the game isn't fun. What's even more frustrating is you see games like Ratchet and Clank with incredibly short load times despite being a more complex game.

I had DC & Powerstone 1 (DC) & i loves this game. Esspecially, PS2 on DC it expensive for used copy. I endup pickup PSP version instead.

It's pretty clear to me that PSP games with long load times are the result of sloppy programming, since I have games of all genres that have very short load times. Luckily, the vast majority of my games are perfectly fine in this regard. Still, if you can use custom firmware, you can copy games to the memory stick, which makes the load times much better (I wouldn't want to play the Ys game without doing this).

That's the thing though. I shouldn't have to use custom firmware to get a decent experience. I don't want to upload something like that to essentially play a bootleg version of a game (even if I already own it). Sony should try to impose some quality assurance with load times.

I didn't find the loading times to be too horrible.

but it's clear this game isn't good on such a small screen.

Yeah fuck power stone 2 on there. I don't even touch it. Powerstone 1 works.
