Rhadsody worth buying? or no ?

i got excited for a second and thought you might be talking about the great band, rhapsody, i had no idea there was a game of the same name
 
If you have to pay ebay prices no.

If you really like Disgaea, La Pucelle and Phantom Brave a lot then it would be worth buying otherwise you might just want to pass.
 
I actually just played it and beat it this weekend...I played it for a little bit on Friday, Sat, and Sun......beat the whole RPG in 10 hours, with a few side quests. With all the side quests I can't imagine it being more than 2-3 more hours. It is insanely easy, even on the hard mode. And it is really targeted for girls, but guys might like it. It is a musical, and the story is about a common teenage girl that has to rescue the prince. And I am a big Broadway musical fan and all, but this game was a little too much.

My review is that it was ok, but way too easy and short to buy it for an insane price on ebay. If you can find it for cheap go for it, or if you just like collecting rare RPGs go for it.

Keep checking Gamestop's... found mine there for about 25 dollars, if I remember correctly.
 
It's short, cute, light, fun. It's definitely not as 'deep' or long as Disgaea or La Pucelle, though LP 'feels' a little more like it.
I wouldn't mind picking it up, it's more of an 'entry level' stratrpg in gameplay, but you definitely have to be okay with a lighter, more feminine tone. I wouldn't pay Ebay prices, however.
 
If you decide to get it, make sure your copy still has the soundtrack CD that originally came with it. The music is so hilariously bad that it's really a highlight of the game. I'm partial to this song:

its a music themed game with really bad music. i guess it is worth it if you are trying to complete the nippon ichi coillection but otherwise not worth it.
 
Rhapsody is an interesting game. It's a VERY shoujo game, a nice change of pace from most games that see American release. You also have the option of listening to the songs in English or Japanese, which is always appreciated.

As always I'm gonna side with the way of the Atlus game. It's good for your collection and it's a different genre game than you normally see in the state. If the price is right, go for it. If you don't like it at all then sell it to a cag.

Agreed, if its made by atlus you cant go wrong.
 
not really, i had this awhile back, and it was really kiddy..kinda like a disney game on how every significant part has a looong song with it...but it is a good collectors piece

la pucelle(i liked it at first but at some point i realized it was shite)
space griffon vf 9
galleon

i think the pro bass fishing game looked like shite but i never played that one, so i cant add it to the list of shite atlus games.
