I have the chance to buy this game for $30. It comes with the game disc, manual, and original case, but no soundtrack CD. Is the game itself worth $30? I'm not talking eBay prices or resale value.
 
I don't think so personally... people didn't like the game until it got rare.

$30 can be spent on better games, imo.
 
If you are building up a PSX RPG collection and don't mind cute-type games, go for it. The soundtrack definitely detracts from the resell value, but you'll be hardpressed to find a complete copy sans soundtrack on Ebay for under $30. I say go for it.
 
I would, just as a collectors item. Or you could buy it and trade it here, im sure someone would give you your moneys worth.
 
I like the game but I'm going to warn you, be prepared to get a BIG headache from the music (you know if they had actual cinemas ala Lunar) for the songs they wouldn't have sucked nearly as badly, but noooooo htey had to use sprites dancing across the screen

It has no sountrack. It has low value as a collectors item. I have two loose (disc only)copies and still hunting mint/complete or sealed one down.

It looks like Ebay is a place for both of them. I'll buy a sealed copy to never open it. Anybody? :D
 
I rented the game once. I thought it sucked. I don't think I would pick it up, unless I was selling it...
 
Thanks for your opinions, I might wait until I can find it complete. I'm only considering buying it from the standpoint of a collector, though I'm sure I'd play it.
