I have done the Rhino trade 2 game (which get at least $10 credit/ sell for 24.99) for 1 new game before. but i am wondering, can you use the credit on 2 games; or how can i just get $50 credit.

I want to do this to get Mario Power Tennis (30 something on clearance) and mech platoon (16.99 gba). Can i get this with the 2 for 1 deal?

to clarify, i am trading in Oddworld: stranger's wrath, and Alien Hominid. I am trying to get mech platoon and mario power tennis.

Edit: I went there and they didn't have mech platoon, so i didn't worry about returning the $50 game. I just traded in Alien Hominid and Stranger's Wrath and got Mario Power Tennis.
 
Alien Hominid gets at least $10? Interesting.

And yes, there IS a 2 for 1 on GBA games.. instead of a $10 minimum, it's a $5 minimum (unless they've changed it to $8).

I'm actually about to take a few 2 for 1's back and pick up an XBox for my cousin with the credit, along with GTA: SA for him as well and Conker for myself.. and if Conker sucks, i'll take it back for full credit.

But to answer the original question, you must get a $50 game at that time.. you can then return it (sealed or not) within 7 days for a full refund in credit and get whatever you want in the store.
 
thanks scorch, now the mario tennis i got on the receipt says 42.90 since i did 2 for 1. but it had a 25% off sticker on it. Now say i return mario tennis, and buy it with the credit wouldn't it ring up for 25% off the 42.90, so i could get mario tennis plus 10 dollars credit.

It's possible. Haha, that's what I love about Rhino. When they had the "buy 2 preowned, get one of equal or lesser value free!" a few weeks ago, I did a 2 for 1 earlier that week and got Area 51.. I beat Area 51, took it back, got $50 in credit, got both preowned games I traded in for $24.99 and got another preowned game for free that was labeled $24.99.. it was pretty funny, traded in my games and got them all back plus an extra one for free.
 
Another trick is you can do a 2-for-1 on a preorder and then shift that credit later to something else. Just make sure the game you're preordering is $50. I have preorders down for Batman Begins, Conker, and 25 To Life, none of which I actually plan on getting. I'll be stopping by next week getting credit for Conker & Batman, since they're out now obviously. I like this method better, since usually I'm either taking in 2 games to get something specific that's out now, or else I just want the $50 credit to use later.
