Rhythm Heaven
This game is rage inducing, it just is. I never played it again after dealing with tons of rage.
Rage is good for your health

So I managed to work up to 48 medals, about 12 perfects, and A rank on all the beginner rock band songs

Moai 2 and the 2nd space shooters are KILLING me

For me, it has been smooth sailing so far. However, as my above post implies, I just reached "Lockstep" and I can see this one taking a lot of practice. Otherwise, I have been able to pass every stage on the first or second try. I can usually get the superb rating after a few tries, and I have been able to perfect almost everything it has asked me to. This game is far better than I expected. It is also far easier than I expected after reading reports of people getting stuck. I can't imagine ever needing to "skip" any of them.

I've been meaning to play this one for a while, but seeing this thread had been bumped up made me pop in my cartridge and give this game a shot. I was so amused at the early game where you're a little guy singing in a chorus line, and my fiance and I were laughing at the game with the clapping monkeys, as the song the girl was singing was so silly and nonsensical.

The game is a lot of fun, and so worth the $8 or so I paid through Amazon months ago.

I prefer the Japanese version of this song, if only because it sounds so much better

That's easy. The quick two-hit part sounds like a horse gallop. Just tap like that.
Thanks for sharing that. I can totally see why the girl character in the game moves her arms the way she does.
No problemo, glad you enjoyed it

I've also found that I play better when I'm not vice gripping my stylus

Edit: Just got my medal, now onto moai 2 =.=

Oh did you guys know you can S rank the rock band songs? I just scored 99 points on one of them and got it

I find the songs from this game are always stuck in my head. I can't wait until I am able to unlock more of them in the music player. I assume all of them are unlockable, but lately all of my perfect unlocks have just been for "read somethings".

For some reason I've got the ping-pong game in my head since last night, even though I didn't play the game yesterday. They're just really catchy songs. ;)

Took me several tries, but I finally got past the shoot-em-up game, and got a gold on the ping-pong. The Moai seems tough.

Deh deh deh-uh, deh deh deh-uh, deh deh deh-uh, deh deh deh. (Ping-pong song)

I love this game. :D

For $10, they awesome gifts for such a cheap price :D

Indeed they do

Just got my last medal from Moai 2, about 33 gifts left to unlock and a few rock band songs to do and I can finally put this game to rest

Just got my last perfect. Rhythm Rally 2. My hand is still shaking. It's a trip listening to some of the soundtrack with no input noises.

Hoooooooooly shit what a game. Not quite as good as Rhythm Tengoku 1st but still quite good. I think I read a comment on NeoGAF about feeling bad for wasting time with generic hi-def titles instead of something like this and I feel the same way. I could have done without some of the games (Space Soccer, Moai) even though they were key for the remixes.

Shame I put this off for so long but I'm glad to say I got 100% same as every other game from the WarioWare team. Good show.

Bonus closing thoughts: It would be swell if we could see some home console minigames that used peripherals.

I can't get perfect on the space shooter one for some reason. I seem to be hitting it perfectly. I make no mistakes. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Sometimes I need little purple-ish smoke when I shoot down a ship. I'm not sure if that is good or bad or just random. I get through the whole thing and at the end it says I was "just ok".

Your timing is off. Time and time again I thought the game was off but it turned out to be just me. Trust me on this.

The purple smoke is an indicator. You're tapping just a few milliseconds too soon. The biggest help for me was to hold the stylus upright like a calligraphy pen instead of sideways when I first started playing. Hopefully that helps.

I am now up to "ping pong 2" or whatever it is called. I still have trouble getting perfects on the older stuff when it comes up, mainly because by the time it comes up, I haven't played that particular one in so long. I end up making some stupid mistake. I noticed that the barista gives you a hint as to which one will be triggered next, so I guess I could practice ahead of time.
