Rigging a 7.1 PC speaker set up for a 7.1 analog BR player, Possible?

Hi all,

I need to figure out how to rig a 7.1 Creative Labs P7800 speaker set up to work with my audio analog outputs from my Panasonic BD-35k blu ray player. Is this even possible? Right now I have the speakers hooked up to my PC via the SB Live card for 7.1 audio out..but I would like to either get it to work with BR player at 5.1.

Is this possible with a few wiring/adapter tricks? I am trying not to buy a new receiver/speaker set up right now because I can't afford it (Moving into a new place soon).

You'll need something to decode the audio signals, therefore you will need a receiver.
