I believe the Essence of Anime version celebrates the Major's cloaking ability by including an invisible UMD for your PSP.

Wait, Im not sure I understand. The UMD is advertised, but it isnt in the package?

Is that like in cereal boxes, where the toy is advertised, but you have to send in an invoice of some kind to have it sent?

Thanks, just finished watching the first season of Ghost in the Shell that I bought during the Deep Discount sale, so now I ordered the entire second season.

Speaking of Ghost in the Shell, does anyone know anything about that Laughing Man DVD they have on pre-order? Is it a re-edit of the first season or something else?
 
The Laughing Man DVD is a 2 hour movie based on the first season of SAC. It's basically a 2 hour recap. I'm not sure if it includes any new footage.

Essence of Anime is a 'greatest hits' line. I don't know of any specific differences other than cost. if the extras TRSI lists are the same, you could go either way. I'm partial to original releases myself tho'.

What fun? The package advertises a "UMD disc included" but has none inside. Just helping the guy out.
 
Well, I bit on GitS:SAC season 1 today. I Netflix'd the first disk a while back and *really* liked it, so I figured $50 was a pretty good price for the season. What I saw seemed much better than the movies - they were more "to the point", and didn't ramble quite as much. Not that I disliked the movies, but I appreciated the show being more "focused". :)
 
No, i understand the leg-pulling, its just that...Im shocked that it says its included [the umd], ive seen it listed. But its just not there.

I mean, wtf's the point. Im more mad at the mistake than you trying to pull a joke on me. Its all in good fun, I understand.

It has been out in europe for a while now I believe. As for the US... unless I missed something I haven't seen any definite news concerning a release here.

Anyone else have their order backordered due to overwhelming demand? I only made two orders, one for the second season of ghost in the shell and a second order with some random mixed dvds including the hellboy cartoons, the karas sequel, and the highlander anime.
