I know this game has cult status around here and elsewhere, so I figured I'd ask if you think they'll ever make a sequel for it. What are the chances?
Also, I learned something about this game today, which I did not know prior. It was actually a sequel of sorts, to a Japanese game that never made it to the US called Remote Control Dandy. However, I've only been able to find videos from RCD's sequel, called simply SF.
The control and displays and even some of the moves look almost exactly the same in the videos I've seen for RCD SF on YouTube.
Remote Control Dandy-Mission 4: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VW-STCZrKq0
Here's the opening sequence for the ORIGINAL Remote Control Dandy(doesn't that one apartment building in the first couple seconds look a little like the one in RAD's opening?): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yb1Wnjf0dNc
Anyone ever heard of or played Remote Control Dandy? I hadn't, until I looked up Robot Alchemic Drive sequel and it brought up THIS page from Audio Atrocities, which says that RAD was a sequel to RCD: http://www.audioatrocities.com/games/rad/index.html
So, if that page and the others I've found are correct, then RAD is the THIRD game in the series already. I certainly hope it's NOT the last though.
