Rock Band 2 $35 Dell.com (XBOX 360)

yea but i mean i order the game and on top of it i do the overnight shipping then i get a email saying ship date revised, i call customer service and they give me the "o we have the items in stock it just hasent shipped yet your order should ship within 7 days" .so yea i placed my order on the 21st my order was supposed to be shipped today the 22nd but now it says shipping date is the 29th i dont mean to be harsh but that just made me angry at dell i mean if i wanted the game next week i would of never paid for the overnight shipping but it is a great deal 50% off mad props to the op for posting it.

got mine today unfortunately dell did not ship the guitar i ordered , so im stuck with a game i cant play ill have to wait for the guitar to ship within 5 days.

Circuit City has the Wired Xplorers for $10 and the Wireless Les Pauls for $30, normal price. Currently, my CC is at 10% off that.
 
I've been trying to hold out on buying Rock Band, but someone is selling all of their RB1 instruments super cheap on craigslist and now RB2 at $35? I had to do it. All on the last day for the coupon too!
 
I just picked up the PS3 RB1 set from Radioshack for $70 so I could play online with my friends who only own the PS3 version (I bought the 360 when it came out for the acheivements) What are the chances of the PS3 version being this price?

Be weary of a used drum set. Best buy has Mad Catz portable drum set for 30 or 40 (cannot remember), I enjoyed it, that is until my cat chewed through some of the wires.
 
Finally got to play my copy today (arrived on Monday) and got to use my new drum set.. I have a problem with the red pad though. It works and everything but every time I hit it there is a little rattle inside of it, anybody know how to fix it?

Yeah, I am definitely weary. I'm going to test everything out before I commit to buying. And worse case scenario the drums are selling for $30 new on Amazon.

Quick questions for those that have had RB1 for a while: what usually breaks first? Anything I should look for when I test it out?

It's hard to say. Bass drum pedals snapped pretty easily, but there are less perceptible things like the sensitivity of the drum heads. My red drum (the snare) was horrible at detecting rolls/fast successive hits, which meant doing horrible on some hard and most expert level songs.

had it for about a year and everything is perfect. the only thing that is a little scary is the bass pedal but they fixed the problem with a new thicker spring. But my bass pedal is fine and I think I'm pretty rough with it.
 
WTF?! This is crazy. Check out this timeline:

Jan. 29 4:30pm - Payment sent to Dell via Paypal
Jan. 29 4:31pm - Dell confirms payment received
Jan. 30 2:56am - Dell confirms RB2 shipped
Jan. 30 3:59am - Paypal processes payment
Jan. 30 9:30am - RB2 arrives at my door

It also shipped through UPS ground shipping, which I only paid $5 for. The label says it left from Tennessee, but the UPS tracking shows it started in Fresno, CA (I'm in San Francisco, only 4 hours away).

Now that was fast!
 
that was another thing, on the ups tracking website that they give you a link for, my order says it shipped from vernon ca to secaucus nj but on the shipping box it said lavergne tn
