Rock Band 2 Bundle + Beatles Rock Band $129.99 Best Buy + $20 back with Paypal

At least this is better than the "value package" for the Beatles. Still a decent deal considering RB2 SE is on sale for $100 and Beatles RB is $60 regularly. I'll pass but thanks OP
 
The RB2 bundle by itself is going for $99, so that means you're getting Beatles: RB for $30 - doesn't sound too bad, you'll probably have to wait a few months before the game gets price dropped that far.
 
I just grabbed it and then saw my confirmation e-mail be for the PS3 version. My mistake, buying things online this late at night - but since I'm doing in-store pickup, I'm wondering if they'll just let me swap it out then and there for the 360 version. Anyone pull this kind of screw-up before?

Or would it be smarter to go ahead and order the 360 version and just immediately return the PS3 version since I'll be standing at customer service to pick it up anyhow?
 
Seems like a decent deal if you want both. I just need the drums and TBRB game, so this is way overkill for me, plastic- and price-wise.

Yuck, good point. I have RB1 instruments with RB1/2 for PS3, and would rather have Beatles RB for 360. I've been holding off because that's way too many plastic instruments for one household. Hopefully there will be a good BF deal - seems these RB2 bundles are popping up discounted in a lot of places.
 
Tax and shipping largely kill this deal. Just as well - I don't play my Wii RB2 very much as it is (and it seems to be the full experience, not watered down), so I don't know why I think I now need it for my newish 360....

Since online & stores are separate they may not let you swap it out. You'd be safer to order the other one and then just return the PS3 version, however it looks like no instore pickup for the 360 version.

Lame, I was totally ready to buy this until I noticed no in-store pick up :cry:

Hoping for a deal on RB2/RB Beatles during BF I guess...
 
I love it how it says "Deal of the Day (online only)" for both, but than clearly offers in-store pickup for PS3 ONLY...wtf BB...
