I thought the same thing. If I want to invest in a new guitar for the games, I would just get the Pro model in a couple months.

Worth every penny. If you have no interest in the Pro guitars, this is the best guitar out there.
 
I bought one. It is arriving tomorrow. I have no interest in the pro guitar since it has strings. If I am going to go through that pain I might as well learn how to play for real.

Yup, I think the Pros are $30 more...and you can actually play like a real guitarists with them, rather than just hitting 5 notes.

That only applies to the Fender Stratocaster, which has no price yet. The Fender Mustang has buttons on 17 rows of frets and 6 nylon strings. It's only a MIDI guitar at best.
