Roeper and Phillips 10 Worst Movies of 2007
:bomb:

if I had make an order it would be

Ghost Rider
AvP:R
Next
Astronaut Farmer
FF:ROTSS (not Fantastic Four 4 2 :p)
Extinction.
I'd go:
AvP:R
Extinction
Astronaut Farmer

The other 3 aren't even good enough to be on the list IMO.
That was one of the best films of the year. You clearly need to stay far away from this thread.
Ditto.

WOW I can't believe so many CAGS like Shoot em up. I like mindless action movie too but the action scenes in this film were so boring. I was looking forward to it after watching the kickass trailers but the gun battles falls flat on its face. Even Monica Bellucci's sex scene couldn't save it.

As said, Shoot 'Em Up is really good once you just let go, Ocean's Thirteen has no business being on this list, and Chuck & Larry gets shit on more than it deserves.

If you like long, boring and pointless movies.
8. Wild Hogs
7. Lars and The Real Girl
5. The Heartbreak Kid
2. Shoot 'em Up
1. Hostile: Part 2
Saw these ones, and none of them were horrible enough to be on the Worst of the Year list (especially not Lars or Wild Hogs, out now on DVD and Blu-Ray disc)

Here were the ten films Roger Ebert gave less than 2 stars to (listed in order of worst to best:

September Dawn R (2007) Zero stars

Revolver R (2007)

This is my bottom ten for 2007:

18. Transformers
19. Spiderman 3
20. The Last Mimzy
21. Reno 911
22. Harry Potter: GOF
23. Knocked Up
24. Black Snake Moan
25. Shrek 3
26. Zodiac
27. Balls of Fury
28. License to Wed

Most boring movie of 2007 goes to Zodiac. I completey forgot that movie came out last year.
Agreed, that pile wouldn't end. Then at the end it said something like, "He was never caught". I am like...yay... exciting...
Go see Juno. Dwight is money in his cameo.
Walk Hard also features a bunch of characters from The Office, great movie by the way.
I went in wanting to like Shoot 'em Up, but it fuckin' stunk.
Yup.

Black Snake Moan, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry, Rush Hour 3, and Spiderman 3 were some of my least-favorite films of 2007.

Maklershed, Here is the totals for each film. You can add them to the first post if you want. Info from BOM.

10. Perfect Stranger $23 Million
9. Rush Hour 3 $140 Million
8. I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry $120 Million
7. The Reaping $25 Million
6. License to Wed $43 Million
5. Good Luck Chuck $35 Million
4. Southland Tales $275,380 Thousand
3. Norbit $95 Million
2. Bratz $10 Million
1. I Know Who Killed Me $7 Million

8. Wild Hogs $168 Million

5. The Heartbreak Kid $36 Million
4. Good Luck Chuck $35 Million
3. Bratz $10 Million
2. Shoot 'em Up $12 Million
1. Hostile: Part 2 $17 Million

And there you go folks.

As already stated, Shoot 'Em Up, doesn't belong on the list. It's so obvious that it's not trying to be serious and just fun and it usually works well.

I think Southland Tales's bad rap is a bit unfair too. It's absolutely flawed, and messy, but at the same time, at least aspires to be something different, and will surprise you. Even if it's a little pretentious.

In a way, it's like Shoot 'Em Up in that some of the things that seem lame or over the top are done within a certain logic. Although it's nothing like Shoot 'Em Up in terms of context and style.

Not everyone will like it, but it's probably worth checking out on DVD, if you liked Donnie Darko (same director).

Oh, yeah and RE: Extinction sucked balls. When did the zombies in RE become DoD Remake Zombies? Why didn't all those clone bodies decompose? Why does Millia Jovoich have to be fucking Neo in Resident Evil? This didn't even feel anything like a movie, but a bunch of shitty one-off scenes glued together with CG blood.

I don't see shitty movies, so I can't comment on any of these.

I can however say that Zodiac was great and if you didn't understand the ending, you missed the point.
I have to politely disagree. I felt 28 Weeks Later was infinitely superior to Extinction.
THIS.

Sadly, I saw almost every single film on the list. How Bratz didn't take absolute top spot on both lists is beyond me.
Could it be because Resident Evil was actually good this time around?
Bad news, kiddo...you have a terrible taste in films. And cancer...I won't tell you where though. Because that would spoil all the fun.

It wasn't like Donnie Darko or anything, I mean, it was based on a fucking true story. Great film btw, among my favorites this year with Grind house and no country making the top...
Also fuck that guy who says ocean's 13 was a shit movie, that was hilarious and a great heist film.

What the fuck? I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry was NOTNOTNOT Worse than One Missed Call. I think that came out last year...

Nevermind, One Missed Call came out in the Beginning of January

I agree with those lists for the most part, Rush Hour 3 was complete shit and I'm happy they will never make another.

However I rented Shoot 'em Up and thought it was one of the funniest things I have ever seen, truely a masterpiece.

Thats what I was getting at. If someone doesn't understand the point of the movie, they should stick to movies on the top 10 worst movie list. They will feel right at home.

I'm definitely biased towards Zodiac since David Fincher is my favorite director (What? Panic Room? Never heard of it...SHUT UP) of my favorite film ever, Fight Club.

Well, at least now we know why you want to kill yourself.

I can appreciate absurdist films, and I understand and acknowledge what Shoot 'em Up was trying to achieve... but it was just plain poor film making.

The only thing it had going for it was a.) capable actors and b.) some solid acting... but that couldn't save the vapid script, TERRIBLE special effects and vanilla photography.

Zodiac was pretty sweet.

It was one of the first movies where I felt I really got my money's worth from the hi-def.

That opening scene is just breathtaking.

I understood it. That's the problem, I was expecting an exciting mystery movie. I wasn't prepared for a 3 hour real life story.

Those kinds of movies you have to go in with that sort of mind set. I'd watch it again, but I don't want to do another 3 hour movie...
I think Bratz should be replaced with No Country For Old Men...

on both lists.
And where the hell is Shrek The Third on these lists for that matter? I've tried to watch it twice now yet somehow I managed to fall asleep at nearly the same spot both times.
This?
Just another way of saying I agree with you (ie; QFT).
Well, at least now we know why you want to kill yourself.
 I guess deep down it would be one of the reasons. Not that I actually sat down and watched every movie on the list, but I have seen a chunk of each of those films at least.
