It has started again, at least at the Meadowood location here.

For interested parties, they had a pretty weak selection when I went at 5:00 PM. 3x BioShock, 1x Blue Dragon, and no Wii or PS3 titles to be seen.

Ahhh wish I saw thsi before I left school today. Won't have time to get anything this weekend. Although I can't think of anything I want right now anyway. Maybe it's for the best so I don't make my backlog even bigger.

[EDIT] looks like that is the only one in town doing the sale, which SUCKS... we found a crapload of Halo 3's, Bioshocks, and Wii stuff at other stores.

i took one of the 2 For $40 tags. it will become a magic pendant that will force the sale to happen when i wear it.

Picked up Heavenly Sword and NHL 08 (360).
Getting Bioshock (1 of 5 COPIES) and either Halo 3 (3 COPIES) or Two Worlds, or some PS3 game. They also had METROID PRIME 3 FOR Wii (gone in like 5 seconds lol).
 
Im interested in Sonata, Halo 3 and PS3 games aswell. I can trade games from the last sale. Let me know guys :) really want Halo 3

is there anyway you are able to get two copies of Halo. I would love one for system link, no biggie if you cant though Im sure mine will have it soon enough :) I appreciate you doing this for me!

I would trade Sonata for a couple of PSP games. Ratchet and Daxter perhaps.

Hording sucks. I was going to leave those games for someone else since they all suck IMO.
 
I went to the one on McLeod. They didn't have any signs up so in order to get the sale I had to mention that it was happening at Meadowood (thanks mrelusive). While he was phoning them, he tried a 2 for 40 sku (I'm guessing an old one) and it worked. So the moral of the story is, if they say the deal isn't on, get them to try the sku as it might just work.

I was able to get a friend of mine a copy of Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and Bioshock, since he has wanted both games badly.
 
Picked up NG Sigma and Tiger 08 for 360. Sigma is available, for now. Send me a list if interested, I don't think I'll have it long.
 
Picked up Lair, Two worlds, Madden 08 (Wii), Bioshock, Warhawk, Blue Dragon, Dynasty Warriors Gundam, and NHL 08 (PS3). I went up to the counter a tad bit embarressed with the sheer amount of stuff in my hands, but was calmed to find that the only people judging me would be the two stoners that were staring at their hands with some 3D glasses on yelling "HOLY SHIT IT'S IN 3D!" (this was of course the assistant manager and another employee) Whats worse is I applied at said store and didn't recieve a call back.
 
Yay! I just went clam digging(Ugh!) and I'm getting a $100 and I already have some saved up. It was going towards some PS3 games but this will have to do. I am never going clam digging ever again though. I still haven't gotten the mud outta my hair.
 
Tonnes of games at the Rogers Vid in Nanaimo but no signs. I asked her and she said if the signs weren't up the deal wasn't on. I forgot to ask them to check their e-mail. I'll phone 'em tonight and ask if they have it on yet and if they don't I'll go back at noon tomorrow.

You still want Eternal Sonata? I saw a copy and could probably pick it up for you. I need something else to go along with NHL 08 anyway. I could also get Stranglehold for you, I noticed that on your want list.
 
I'm in Windsor, first Rogers I went to said they weren're participating in the deal, which ended up being a good thing, as I went to the one on Cabana and picked up Bioshock and Two Worlds. They still had a Bioshock, Metroid Prime 3 and a bunch of Final Fantasy XII's left. Good stuff.
 
the only one near me doing it is like 30 minutes away. They said they're doing it because they are overstocked lol

Hmmm, I can't remember where half the people on here are from, but for some reason I thought you were in Ottawa? If so, which location? ;)

Metroid has piqued my interest and I am of course still interested in Stuntman. Wario and EBA for DS have caught my attention as well.

I phoned earlier and the employee said they didn't check the emails yet. She seemed clueless on the whole thing though. Hopefully by later tonight or tomorrow they'll have read 'em before it's too late and the weekend is over. By the way, how you liking your PS3? I got mine 2 months ago and It's great fun. I'm addicted to Folklore.
 
so far I am moderately impressed. I've got Ratchet and Clank future weapons or whatever on rental and I am loving it so far. I'm hoping to find some other games I like as well soon. Watching movies in blu-ray is nice, I watched blood diamond which I also rented from Rogers and it was awesome

I don't have R + C yet but I liked the others. If you're looking for games I might suggest Folklore, Warhawk is fun if you have online, Ninja Gaiden if you haven't played the XBOX one, and Resistance but you might want to wait until it drops in price a bit, it's a good game but not worth it at 60(IMO). Blu rays are pretty nice. I only have 300 which didn't look too great but my mom bought happy feet and that was a huge difference.
 
tons of great games at my rv, I have no money to spend on video games though. :( Oh well, I have 9 preorders and I haven't decided which ones I'm keeping...

No luck again. If they don't have it tomorrow I'll be pretty peeved but oh well. Do you think RV will have the deal on the Remembrance day weekend? I hope so, hopefully they'll have Beautiful Katamari and AC 6 in the bin.
 
I found a motherlode, I have six games on hold while the manager confirms that 2 for $40 is on. I might not get them all, but they are all on my wanted list. I wish I had more time to play these.

Sorry, Rogers in Ancaster.
Last time I was there, 3(!) copies of Bioshock remained. Also, one Halo 3 (black case). Sorry, I bought the other 2 for magiic.
 
wow i had no idea that blockbuster had such good trade in values on games. Every game i bought has at least a $30 tiv.


and magiic have you done your 5 free blu-ray deal on your ps3 yet?
