Well I tried to trade in some games at Rogers today only to find out they won't accept my trades because I don't have a BC drivers license. My legal address is still in Manitoba and as such I have a Manitoba driver's license. Apparently this is not good enough for their pompous asses. The lady gave me some BS about how under BC law etc. etc. Funny how I have successfully traded at Blockbuster, Future shop and Eb games without any hassles (all within BC). Anyway I laughed when she was spewing the BS and politely told her I realize it isn't her fault, but I'm honestly not surprised as I've heard all sorts of problems when it comes to trading with them.
I was willing to pay for the right to trade with them. I was willing to do their silly hoop jumping in order to get my name in their system. But this is beyond silly. I'll take my business elsewhere thank you very much (even though I am in the process of getting a license here which has nothing to do with rogers).
