Another sale has started. Or it has at mine anyways. It runs from December.9 until December.15
It is valid on all used games at Rogers Video across all platforms. Most Rogers Video stores seem to pull new games on Wednesday which means that new stuff will be available on Wednesday.

Everyone post your finds here so you can trade with other Canadian CAG's :)

If this is not already on RFD please don't post it there.

My Rogers confirmed that they are having the sale.

The only thing I am worried about is that they might have a 2/30 on boxing day. I want to get the games there now, but if I just hold out for two more weeks I could save a considerable amount of money.

Picked up Halo 3 and I'm debating between Lego Star Wars: Complete Saga or possibly COD3, but I'm not REALLY into FPS on a console... But Halo 3 on its own is worth the price of admission, Lego would be a fine addition when I don't really want to do MUCH.

Shame they didn't have GoW, I REALLY need to get that damn game.

At the same time, I really shouldn't be getting more games. I have to finish Mass Effect, then play Jade Empire, KOTR (both never played, yeah - I know) and Kameo. Crap on a stick, my wife is going to have my head. Ohswells.
 
I expect to see one or two Mario Galaxies at mine on Wednesday. They have like 10 copies on the shelf for rental

Has anyone in the GTA seen Big Brain Academy (Wii) at Rogers? I've been looking everywhere for a used copy (christmas gift), but with little luck.

probably, me getting them is a big if. My Rogers video even has signs up for it so every tom dick harry and their dog knows about the sale :(
 
Im kind of dissapointed mine had some other good stuff people bought a few days ago before the sale...

namely Simpsons Game, Oblivion GOTY, Orange Box, Black Site Area 51 & Jericho
 
magiic your the cats meow in my books. What did you mean when you said they dop games on wenesday. Does every location do that? Mine had AC6 me wants.

Mine sucked, but the other one near me had OB a few days ago as well as TH Proving Grounds, but those were gone. I passed on Jericho and Conan but I'm thinking I should have picked them up to try anyways ;/

Most if not all rogers video stores use Wednesday as the day they take games from the rental shelf and put them on the used shelf. Games get pulled based on if they are getting rented or not. If a game has lots of copies on the shelf that arent being rented it goes to the used shelf.
 
For Quebec people:
Is there any Rogers Video store in Quebec that sells video games AND does this deal?

I called few of them and those who were not closed did not sell video games at all.
 
Damn. I was just there last night. Oh well, my parents are going grocery shopping. I'll just ask them to check for me.
 
If I don't go in the next few hours then I highly doubt I'll get anything out of this sale. I remember last time I picked up about four games and never saw anything for the remainder of the sale. Hmmmm.

As well as Elebits brand new for $15. I might try a couple other locations tomorrow night. =)

Anyone in Winnipeg, 2855 Pembina is participating, but there's nothing really good to choose from. Timeshift (1), Bioshock (1), PGR 4 (1) and Jericko (1) and a couple other random 360 games. No PS3 games, no Wii games. The St. James location, however, has bins and bins of games; lots of them are under $20, but there's still some good ones to be had. Too many to remember.
 
Ah crap. I just saw this now. Well, Victoria & 41st had Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Metroid Prime 3, and PGR4 on Friday. They may still have it now if anyone wants it.

The only games I want to buy are Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty 4, Zack & Wiki, Trauma Center (will probably just pick it up new), Naruto: Rise of a Ninja, and The Orange Box.

I already have OB on PC but I want it on 360 too >__>
 
This is on RFD now btw. So get a move on asap guys. That MrKat ass already bought a bunch of godo games and traded in at BBV. But since he's a troll, I don't think he actually found them. I doubt Mass Effect was already on the shelf.

I was so very lucky today, I went for a walk in the morning and walked past Rogers, where I peeked inside the window and lo and behold I snatched up

What I think to be the best part of all this...the games didn't have the Rogers writing on it, nor do they look like they have ever been taken out of the package. It might also be worth mentioning that my Rogers (on prairie and coast meridian) had about 10 Halo 3's, an eternal sonata, like 3 timeshifts, another jericho (PS3 and like 5 for 360), 2 more Conans, mario and sonic at the olympics, and some more randoms of each system (at least in the morning)

Oh and P.S thanks Magiic for telling me about the gift card, I now have 6 free new releases and 1 7-day release
 
Was able to get 2 copies of Virtua Fighter 5 (been waiting for this sale to do this). One for me and one for a friend. After playing Virtua Fighter 5 for a bit today I realised how bloody awful DOA4 is (especially online). Needless to say my copy of DOA4 will be traded in/sold off the next chance I get.

Thanks for the heads up guys.

Yeah, both times I bought games (4 in total), none of them had any writing, and could easily have passed off as brand new games. I think it varies by location.
 
Im going to mine again in about 20 minutes. Anything you guys want me to look for? They pulled (not exaggerating) about 200 games last night across all platforms.
 
If you can can you try and get me Orange Box? That would be amazing and I can trade or buy it from you, really the only game I really think I must own that I dont already
 
Surrey Central doesn't really seem to have anything. Just called in. Guess I'll wait for the next one for my stuff.

well my location hasnt pulled anything.

Doesnt seem like theres anything new at all.(no ps3 abysmal wii though)

However they were having the sale and they did have Mario Party 8 and Strikers Charged for wii. Which I did want so I picked them up.
 
I popped into three.

Calgary, Elbow: good selection: Lots of 360, jericho, simpsons, timeshift, halo3

Calgary, Millrise: huge selection: 100 DS games (Phoenix Wright), 50 360 games, lots of Wii, and a handful of PS3 (inc Ratchet).

I got 6 games myself: Halo 3, Bioshock, PGR4, VP:party Animals, VF5, Lego Star Wars complete.

No Orange Box sadly. Dabating whether to get AC6. There should be Mass Effect and AC later this week.

All four games I bought had the non-removable sticker, though my copy of Beautiful Katamari looks like it's been used once at most. That said, they went as far as to write the store's number in big ugly black permanent marker directly on TimeShift's disc...
