Another sale has started. Or it has at mine anyways. It runs from December.9 until December.15
It is valid on all used games at Rogers Video across all platforms. Most Rogers Video stores seem to pull new games on Wednesday which means that new stuff will be available on Wednesday.

Everyone post your finds here so you can trade with other Canadian CAG's :)

I picked up some shitty tittles I have to admit I got The Darkness and Two Worlds, prolly a bad selection.

LOL I had a dumb guy in the morning too today I was like you guys going to get some new games for the 2/40 he's like "I dont know" so I was like fine w/e I walk out and mumble to myself WTF are you working here for jackass if you dont know. I cant believe they have morons working there and I wasn't hired I am atleast 3 times better then this douche Iw as much longer in retail.....

The Darkness isn't shitty, it's a little older now but for $20 it's better than nothing.

Two Worlds on the other hand... well, that will depend on the person playing it. If you can get past the various little glitches and sometimes less than impressive framerate and pausing, and laughably terrible voice acting, it might start to grow on you and you might find quite a fun and entertaining game that is reminiscent of Diablo in a way. I know I did and enjoyed it for what it is. Word of advice: Go into it with LOW expectations. The first hour or so is a poor indication of the rest of the game.

And the people that say it looks like an early PS2 game, must have forgot or have never played ANY games released in 2000/01

they can't sell those titles yet for some reason, but i managed to get ratchet and halo 3 tonight, christmas done for my brother and my nephew!

also got myself timeshift and kane n lynch for 360
 
I love 2 for 40.

So I go to my RV expecting the pulled Trauma Center that I was promised. There was nothing pulled. But the person (the manager who had promised me it had left) said he would pull it for me. I decided what the hell and asked if he could pull Super Mario Galaxy for me. He said "I was gonna pull a couple of those tonight actually sure" *facefault*


Needless to say my wallet is empty but I now have a big cheap ass grin on my face.
 
note it was the kipling and albion location and they MAY have another SMG. So call and ask asap.

I only got the one for myself but I'm guessing the clerk pulled it for himself. Still never hurts to ask.
 
another tale worth telling, the one i got ratchet from told me "if the game is more than 39.99 its not in the 2 for 40" so i was shitting my pantsb ecause R&c was a newer title. it was 39.99, but on the recipt it says halo 3 was 49.99

i have smelt a lot of bullshit but this girl wasnt pulling the wool over on my eyes

Victoria & 41st has nothing worthwhile. Surrey Central has Blue Dragon and Bioshock. Already have both of those so I didn't pick 'em up.
Edit: They also have Virtua Fighter 5 for the 360.

I bought a copy of Kane and Lynch and i called a friend to see if he wanted anything since I only 1 game for myself and one for this chick at work that was gonna go to other stores for me. There was nothing for her kid tho. nothing worth while for 360 anyways. so he told me he wanted a copy of kane and lynch as well.

the SUPER gay RV employee said 2 of the saaaaaame? I told him one was for ebay just as a joke unless he could pull super mario galaxy or cod4 for :360: or Ps3 and he just gayly passed me the games and told me i had 30 days to bring them back for any reason. Im sure there has to be a reason.

Hopefully i go to work tomorrow and get SMG :) I told her to go to the stores i wasnt going to.

FYI its 3 for 24 if they're under 10$ (9.99 titles) so things like eragon, mlb 2k6, nba live 06 are fodder for trade 4 for 1 :) just throwing it out there
 
It seems I'm not allowed to buy anything until after my Birthday just incase my parents already bought me that particular game... This is one time I resent my birthday being on New Years Eve.

was told by 2 rogers (didnt call the 3rd) that if games are 9.99 (lots of xbox/ps2 games are, some 360) they are 3 for 24$ pretty good deal as it would help with trade at bbv.

ie. buy 3, find another game for trade, get any title 69.99 or under, at bbv!

I'm mostly looking to trade right now. If I sold it would probably be for $30 shipped, that seems to be the going rate. But I would prefer to trade for my wants.

I scored probably one of the best 2/$40 game deals in the history of 2/$40 game deals. Before I post what it is alongside a picture I would like you take some guesses as to what it may be :)

I decided I dont feel like posting a pic unless someone really wants one. I got a brand new sealed Time Crisis 4 w/ Guncon3 bundle for $20 as part of the 2/$40

it's not Guitar Hero III or anything but I thought it was a damn good deal lol
 
I would be screaming 'o-shit' if the gun wasn't an ugly orange colour, but excellent buy otherwise. My Rogers' sucks. :(
 
I guess what happened according to the guy who held it for me (I dont even have to ask anymore they just hold shit like this for me because they figure I'd like it :) ) is that they got like 6 copies for rental but decided it would be too much of a pain in the ass to rent them out because of the gun and it's sensors or whatever so they just decided to PV them all :)

Yeah, the sensors sounds like a pain in the ass to set up whenever you want to play it and I don't think I would want to have them constantly on my TV (remember Power Glove? :p), especially if I haven't touched it in months (which happens with many life-gun shooters for me).

One of the benefits of Wii's miniscule sensor bar I guess (even if it's not as accurate).
 
Ya Im not sure if Im going to keep Time Crisis or not. I might just put it on Craigslist and see if I can get some money to go towards other games

on a non 2/$40 related note today I bought Snoopy vs the Red Baron for 9.99 at Rogers, I used my star rewards points though so it was free.
