Another sale has started. Or it has at mine anyways. It runs from December.9 until December.15
It is valid on all used games at Rogers Video across all platforms. Most Rogers Video stores seem to pull new games on Wednesday which means that new stuff will be available on Wednesday.

Everyone post your finds here so you can trade with other Canadian CAG's :)

If this is not already on RFD please don't post it there.

I wonder if I buy a couple of crap games 2/40 and keep them aside unopened, if I can exchange them for a different pair once the 2/40 is over...

Might be a way to get the deal with better selection.

Try this. Say you bought two games for someone for Christmas, but they did not like it, or they already had the games.

Come back on say Boxing Day (where a new, larger pull is likely) and swap the games out for two other games that your "friend" "wanted" for "Christmas".
 
see I went to exchange a game upon seeing a new pull and they told me I could exchange it for anything as long as it didnt come from the most recent pull
 
I once had a copy of graw 2 from a 2 for 40 that when I opened (it was 3 months after the actual purchase date) had a non functioning copy of graw 1 in it...I took it back and they told me to trade it for any game, which I chose Ninja Gaiden Sigma of course, Sigma was also from the most recent pull and they still allowed it. So maybe this is YMMV or it could be since I had such a shitty situation they took pity on me

Sale ends in 20 minutes. After that, it is most likely Boxing Day.
 
Went by to the Hamilton location on Paridise again.

Got SMG for wii, and Ratchet for ps3.

Only decent stuff left was simpsons and timeshift for 360.

the sticker is easy to get off with some goo gone.
You wouldn't want to trade away mass effect to me for something would you?

I already gave Mass Effect to a friend. I already have the LE one.

So goo gone isn't a problem with discs? Or would it just make more sense to just leave it on there if I'm not going to be trading them in or anything?
 
Not sure if they changed the sticker on discs since I've went there, but I just take the ring off and use it to remove the remaining VOID lettering. The ring sticker is surprisingly sticky, so it should remove those no problem.

I don't notice any ring sticker but I do notice a small white sticker on the disc. Just says Rogers video and has a serial number on it. It's not too big and I don't really notice it at all. But I heard that it could cause problems but I think that might be a bit of paranoia because I haven't heard any cases of people having issues.

If it's just a single sticker off to one side it can put the balance of your disc off. This doesn't cause any instant problems, but it WILL reduce the lifespan of any drive you use the disc regularly in. If it's the kind of sticker I think it is you should be able to pull it off with no residue/problems.
 
The single small white sticker comes off no problem. It's the shiny ring sticker that's an issue. Different stores do different things.
