Rondo of Swords

arrgh~!!!

I just popped this game in for a bit, played thru a level...

I just jumped on my computer and looked at my recruit guide,

it seems I just killed a potential teammate... and saved my game!!

>_< and I've been so perfect up to this point too!!

GGPO Garahad... at least I can still recruit you on my other save file

 I killed him too. I tried to recruit him without knowing if I could, but I had the wrong person, and he made it too much of a pain in the ass to do so. Now you're free to fail in recruiting others too!

I need some clarification on how the class system works.

My understanding is that there are up to two class changes available. Does your level reset to 1 in the new class? Also, are there level caps to the lower classes if you choose not to promote early?

I read something about the first class change being available once you hit level 15, and the 2nd once you hit 30.

You're correct, and I know little else. You don't go back to level 1 when you change classes. You'll be quite lucky if you can find enough class change items to do it at level 15 anyway, so odds are you'll be into the 20s before that happens. The linear way in which it is set up leads me to believe you'll have to do the first class upgrade before the second, regardless of when that occurs.

if you do not promote your characters, they begin to suffer from stunted growth as they level up so it's very wise to upgrade them as soon as possible once they reach lvl 15.

but only upgrade the ppl that you use since the necessary items are scarce...

the only ppl I've upgraded are Kay, Margus, Alhambra, Ansom, and I think that's it...

in regards to the 2nd upgrade, the word is that it's pretty much a NG+ thing becoz most ppl go thru the game without receiving any upgrade 2 items until the very end
