Reap the benefits, people! I went out yesterday looking for a job to see if TRU was hiring and they were closing (what an encouraging moment for me! I'm looking for employment and I stumble upon people losing jobs!)

Anyways, all games are 25% off, game systems are excluded. No exceptions for software - if you find it, you'll get 25% off. Believe it or not, there are still huge amount of games and they were cleaning the back so there were some harder-to-find titles available ie. Metal Slug 3 Xbox, etc. Anybody looking for Doom 3 Lim. Edition, it's there, and it's only $45.

Accessories are 50% off. There were still about 20 PS2 Headset left, the official nice logitech ones.

They are not even shipping out big, new games like GT4, Doom3, etc., so I'm thinking that they are planning to get rid of them all through selling. There are 3 TRU within 20 miles so I'm confused about TRU corporation decisions at this moment. Anyone think that the sale will get 50%?

And anyone know Metal Gear Solid 3 current TRU price? Is it $20 yet, so I can hope for a bigger sale?

NOOOO! I was just up there 2 days ago and I'm far too lazy to drive 90 minutes to go there again. Perhaps I'll make my sister go pick me up a few games....

Tho I doubt it since one of the managers confirmed to me that they are getting the TNA action figures this week. :applause:

That'd suck if it did go. It's not like I go there very much, but if I did want to go to a TRU I'd much rather go to somewhere relatively close like Blaine than somewhere twice as far away like Minnetonka.

Yeah, I hear ya. I do find TRU kinda overpriced unless said item is on sale or on clearance. I will admit I did pick them clean a bit during their various Dreamcast clearance sales. :applause:

Speaking of Blaine... time for me to head off to work. New release day. :D
 
Ah! Too bad I don't live out there anymore. Roseville wasn't too far. 25% off still isn't that great though unless it's on something that is hard to find or something that you just have to have now. I'd wait for 50% off or more. I know I picked up a bunch of stuff from the Maplewood and Woodbury stores during their 50% off clearence sale. I might have even got a few things from Roseville too. :D
 
Bah, too far. Do you think they'd still have DS games like Yoshi's Touch & Go and Wario Ware Touched?

TNA?

I remember opening day of the Blaine Toys R Us. I went. They had the Ninja Turtles there and you could get your picture taken with them. The line was monstrous! My friend and I skipped the line and went for the toys. I did not live in Blaine at the time, but Anoka. Maybe someday I'll move back.

Most likely they aren't losing their jobs, most likely they are being transfered and dispersed to other stores.
