I bought the cheapest Belkin router Walmart had. I knew Belkin gets a bad rep, but I figured it couldn't be too bad, and I'm on a limited budget, so I got it anyway. It really is the shittiest router ever conceived. It won't allow any new connections every 10 minutes or so for a minute, so there's always lots of waiting when I'm on the Internet for it to come back...

So what's an actually good router keeping in mind that I don't want the best of the best? Now I'll try to believe you get what you pay for more though...

What model is your Belkin router? There's a chance that if it's supported, you can flash the firmware to a custom firmware that should fix most problems and add features.

Hmm. Seems more expensive than what I was expecting :p But I guess I don't want another dud. I'll check it out, thanks. Looks like a whole lot of PEBKAC errors though in the reviews.
