RROD Victims: Do you still buy games for your 360?

I'm having trouble justifying whether to buy games for my recently repaired 360, basically because once it goes RROD once, it's probably bound to go again. Alas, I still had to pre-order the 360 version of R6:Vegas 2 today because of a few people on Live I want to play that on, although I do want to try the PS3 version because it's not just a port, and I will have friends to play over PSN with too... grrrr! :hot::bomb:

Why do you still buy for your cursed 360?

And when the damn thing does work it's a blast to play. That said, I'm expecting my coffin for my Xbox's second repair to arrive in the mail tomorrow or Wednesday, just in time for the launch of Vegas 2. :cry:
 
isn't this the 2nd thread you have had today/recently that you talk about buying games and which system to get it for...its like you are looking for the communities support to switch from buying 360 games to ps3 games...if thats what you want to do..do it
 
I have had three of them go RRoD on me and yet I still buy more games. The damn thing is just so much fun when it works.

I think he's got a good point.

Buying the 360 would be a lock for me if it wasn't such a shoddy piece of hardware.

I suppose if I'd gone through 4 of them I'd feel the same way. Mine is still going strong after 2 years.

At this point I have so many 360 games that if mine died I'd go straight out and but another one, I could do with having the HDMI port anyway.

But yeah, I think most people will agree that the 360 build quality is pretty terrible.

I still think this should have gone in the 360 forum though.

I'm just trying to create discussions is all. No need to start console bashing. I'm a fan of all things game related.

Didn't realize there was a 360 forum, or that people would get their panties in a bunch over it.

not everyone can afford PS3, but hey... if you got one you buy games for it.
 
Yes... if it's cheap/on clearance for under 20 bucks, I am buying it. At this point I don't mind anymore sending it away. As long as the hard drive doesn't DIE (which happened to my first 360), then it's ok. To have your hard drive with hours of saved game data from multiple games, screenshots, videos, not to mention downloaded content just die on you is IMHO a bigger blow then a RRoD.

I'll continue to buy disc games for my 360, but MS can kiss my ass when it comes to DLC.

I refuse to buy any more DLC until Microsoft fixes their RETARDED drm policies like linking content to a console with 65%+ failure rate. And their refusal to properly compensate users for their loss.

The only content I'm going to buy is the upcoming map pack for CoD4, cos well... I'm addicted and I have to have that. But thats it.
