The "Elite Beat Agents 2" entry links to Ouendan 2 art. It's just a lazy name edit entry that means nothing. Blehk. Close/Delete/Let Topic Die

Supposedly, a reader sent it in, a partial screenshot of what's allegedly Nintendo of UK's press site, with Elite Beat Agents 2 listed. It's something that can be easily photoshopped in, and it's probably not true.

Agreed, the Oundan games were alot better

Ouenden 2 is better, except that it is in Japanese, and it isn't *that* much better. EBA 1 is definitely better then Ouenden 1, due to some real annoyances with that game. Namely that you can't see the difficulty level of a song, nor your previous best score on it, when at the song selection screen after beating the game. That makes the game cumbersome from a re-playability standpoint. Plus it's in Japanese. Yes, you can play the game and get much of the humor, but I always feel like I'm missing out on something. So, for me, they'd be ranked like this:

Ouendan 2
EBA
Ouendan 1

I definitely would like to see an EBA2, but have doubt that we'll ever get it, at least for the DS/DS Lite. I think we'd be more likely to see it as a download game for the DSi and, in fact, I'd probably buy a DSi if they did that. I think that because the distribution costs for a DSi download game are (presumably) much lower then for a DS cartridge, they can put out games for niche audiences with less risk. There is also the benefit that the game could actually be much larger (file size) then a DS cart and therefore they could have higher sound quality and/or more songs.
