According to reports, the Fox News report on Mass Effect which suggested it was something of a porno flick has led to major US retailer Target pulling the game from shelves. In places, the game is supposedly in stock but employees are instructed not to sell it at all.
quote:
Following FOX's report that BioWare's Mass Effect game is actually a porno-flick, a lot of gamers and gaming-involved journalists slammed the TV channel's review of the game, and, believe it or not, even infamous anti-violent games lawyer Jack Thompson agreed that FOX was way off line.
Apparently, US retailer Target is either too scared or has the same experience in gaming as Cooper Lawrence, since they've begun pulling Mass Effect off shelves. What's even more absurd is that the game is actually in stock, but Target employees are not allowed to sell it...
Want more of this? I got more of this! Sex-stuffed titles like "Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laudae" or "Playboy the Mansion" are still on Target's shelves, of course situated in the proximity of The Bible Game... And they're at the discount section...
