Best Buy exclusive sticker on the front of the box.
Best Buy exclusive sticker on the front of the box.
That's the compelling reason to get it, for certain.
my guess is the digital copy.
I was thinking it might be the DVD versus the digital copy, though the one listed on Amazon for $23.99 is BD + DVD + DC + UV DC, so that can't be it.

Maybe it's like MI: Ghost Protocol, with extra features?

Blu-Ray.com thread on it also doesn't have an idea of what the "Exclusive" is for this BB version.

No its the one with Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds.

You are the only person I have ever seen talk about this movie. :applause:

I assume exclusive extras.

99% of the time BB exclusive = BB only steelbook/packaging (like the walking dead) or has like an hour of bonus extras that you can only get at BB)

My money is on like an hour of bonus extras or DVD or something. I don't mind if it has the shitty digital copy or whatever long as it has the dvd version, i can't stand blu-rays that just come with the BR + digital or that horrible UV DC, just give me the fucking DVD and i will make my own digital copy if i want one.

Agent Doggett... is that you?

How reliable is Best Buy with their online steelbook orders? Had a bad experience with Walmart where they sent me the regular version of Battle LA.

LOL! You and alot of people. That was one big clusterf*uck!
This movie any good? Looked like it would be, and I'm a sucker for steel books.
It was good, but I hated the ending.
LOL! You and alot of people. That was one big clusterf*uck!
Took a couple of shipments to get it right for me, though Walmart eventually fixed it.

Same here. 3 shipments for me to be exact then they started popping up in-store.

Somehow Amazon got a hold of them shortly after for the same price, so I lucked out with Battle LA in the end. Hoping BB doesn't let me down, I chose ship to store.

I've pre-ordered Steelbooks from BB before with good luck. Fast 5 and Green Lantern come to mind. Just hope this is G2 sized, not G1.

My wife got me all 3 LOTR and the 2 Batman Steelbooks today from BB to replace my DVD copies. Pre-Ordered this one as well. Love my Steelbooks.

Canceled my $24.99 pre-order and reordered it for $22.99, I'm not sure what Best Buy's Pre-Order policy is so that seemed like the safe way to guarantee the lower price.

Thanks Taco5

Price would automatically adjust itself when shipped or picked up via in-store pickup. At least that is always the case for me.
Price would automatically adjust itself when shipped or picked up via in-store pickup. At least that is always the case for me.
That's how it normally works, though I've had issues where it didn't automatically adjust on pickup or shipment.

Since he didn't have a pre-order bonus item on the order, he could cancel and re-order without any issue.

I should have said "should" instead of "would" on that response but it is a case of YMMV. Just to clarify my point, when I ordered a couple of the WB steels they were $19.99 but when I picked them up I was only charged the new price of $14.99.

That sucks it's G1 size, but I was planning on buying the movie anyway since I liked it in theaters. I can't seem to find the Blu-Ray format version for the steelbook online (only DVD) so I'm hoping they have some at the store on Tuesday otherwise no buy. I want Blu!

Despite it saying DVD, I believe it is the BD steelbook. If you click the link on the first page that originally linked to the steelbook it is the same DVD listing. I don't think there is a DVD only version of the Steelbook (please correct me if I'm wrong) so that's likely it.

It a Blu-ray Combo Pack. Website glitch.

Was just at my Best Buy picking up a bunch of Steelbooks I ordered for store pickup. They asked if I wanted to pick up my Safe House Steelbook. Of course I said yes thinking the system would'nt allow it.

Well, I did walk out of the store with it...and I'm sad to confirm it is G1 sized.
It's 19.99 now btw. I didn't know Wal-Mart got a Battle LA exclusive version.
It's not $19.99.

The non-steelbook version is $19.99, the steelbook is $22.99.

Does the Steelbook version also still include the digital copy? I know this one isn't getting an iTunes copy, only UV, but the Steelbook isn't a CinemaNow DC is it?

I might be OCD cause the G1 I got is bothering the hell out of me =/. If anyone wants to trade me a sealed G2 for a sealed G1 be my guest. Assuming there's a G2 Safe House.

I'm going to return the G1 steelbook I bought. It's mint without dents. There is a small rip in the plastic but it doesn't appear to have damaged the steelbook, I never opened it. If somebody wants it for my cost plus $3.00 to cover shipping & fee's I'd rather see a CAG get it. I'll ship it in a box wrapped in bubble wrap. Just PM me. I need to know by Tuesday since that's the day I'll return it.
