Saint's Row 2 - Gen. Discussion & Info
OK, can someone help me with the Hitman activity? I'm told to go to the abandoned drive-in by the Arena (or something like that), but I can't find a drive-in in that area.
Its just south of the motorcycle store on the bottom island in the top left. ....i think across the street.

if you still need help with it, i will send you a FR to show you where it is. don't realy have any intentions of going through it co-op with anyone really right now since i am mostly done with my co-op, but if someone needs some help send a pm on here or on live, gamertag is slimjim0725.

And, after twelve hours and five minutes of gameplay, I have officially completed the story of Saints Row 2. And, I loved it. Even beat the hidden mission.

Quick question- is there any way to get the Attrazione's out of the Ultor Depot Mall? They're all over the place in little roped off areas for an auto show; I've been driving all over the mall and the only way out I've found is the elevator that brought me in. I still need this for the chop shop, so I'd love to be able to drive it out somehow. Thanks for any help.

Yeah there is an exit on the 4th floor....the exit leads to a parking garage which leads you up to outside. Or you can go to a car shop and buy one. :)

ok i'm at 71% and 24 hours in I think.
The julius mission I kind of stumbled upon when I went to the police station and was just wandering around. I seen the detective sign and was like sweet it's Law and Order time. The misson wasn't too bad but now I can't wait to find out everything when Saints Row 3 comes ut. DEX is a dead man!

Where are the places to gamble at? LOL I know dumb question but I can't seem to find them.
There is Poseidon palace in the hotel and marina district i think on the top island. Also on the left of that same island near the top left is another building you go into and there are some machines in the basement....you should know about it since it is involved in a mission.
Where are the places to gamble at? LOL I know dumb question but I can't seem to find them.
Inside the Casino you do the mission with Johnny Gat earlier in the game against the Ronin is where I went but you can only play Video Poker or Blackjack. You will have to walk up to the machine.

The Video Poker and Blackjack are also available on the College Campus inside one of the buildings but it is much easier to find the Poseidon Palace.

Are any of the three gamestop exclusive vehicles actually in the game or do I have to use the codes to unlock them?
Are any of the three gamestop exclusive vehicles actually in the game or do I have to use the codes to unlock them?
Pretty sure that the codes are the only way to unlock them.

I figured maybe there might be a way to get the UFO otherwise since there is that underground base in the game, and that would be a likely place to hide one... but I haven't been able to find it again since the mission there to really explore it.

Fun game but two things I didn't like compared to the original:

1. Online multiplayer is weak -- the original game modes were a lot more fun

2. What happened to the graphics? Or I should say colors...everything is washed out. Guess it makes it "grittier" but it's not appealing to look at. The original had all kinds of primary colors and I guess they wanted it more "realistic" or whatever.

Overall, fun...but not up to the original.
I've yet to have this game lock up on me.
Have you played much online Co-op? I never had the game freeze in single player. It is only when I play Co-op.

It locks up randomly. I had it lock up when I upgraded a crib and at other random spots. I think I had to do a few levels of some activities over because it locked up

I've played quite a bit of single player. I've only had it lock up on me twice though.

If anyone is ever down for some co-op I'd love to play.

So is it just me or does the style in this game work differently than in SR1? In SR1, if I had, say, a 60 style hat, and went to purchase a 10 style hat, it would say I would get -50 style. It doesn't do that in this game, though, so how do I know if I'll gain or lose style when buying clothes if I can't remember the style rating of the article I'm wearing?

Just got the game. Intro music is awesome. I got a feeling I'm going to love this game. I'm creating my dude now. :D

Edit: Can you change your voice later in the game? Are there more choices later on? I picked voice 3 but it's a Mexican guy. The other was a British voice and a black dude. Not much choices.

Yeah you can change it later on in the plastic surgeon's. Nothing else as far as voices though.

The voices were kind of disappointing for a white guy. I had to choose the White/Spanish speaking voice. Otherwise i had to pick black, or british. :/
I switched to British the last few missions just for the lulz.
I used the British accent the whole game. My guy was ripped right out of a Guy Ritchie flick.

I'm really digging the game. Everything feels smooth. Combat is a lot of fun. The environments are pretty rich. Plus my guy kinda looks like me, which is pretty cool. :D

Yeah, whenever I was a guy I used the brittish one exclusively. Funny you should mention Guy Ritchie, because that's all I could think of too.

I actually spent the majority of the game as a girl though, partially because it was something different, and partially because it's just hilarious to see a girl stun gunning and chainsawing people.

For the complete X activity achievements, do you need to go all the way up to level 10 or how does it work? I just beat Level 1 of whatever activity I'm doing to gain enough respect to open new missions. To get the achievement do you have to do it all in one sitting?

No, you can come back anytime and complete the set(s) of particular activities. You have to complete every set of that particular activity to get the achievement though, not just one location.

So if I lose at level 3, I can start back at level 3 until I fully beat it? Also how many sets does each activity have? Will it take a long time to complete them all?

Yeah, you start back at the last level you completed. I haven't played the game in awhile but I think most all the activities have around three locations. Just look around the map. As far as time goes, they get progressively harder, so I don't know.

Yeah, you can go back and start at 3.

Level 6 is the highest an activity goes, and at most there are 2 locations for each activity. Yes, it will take a while to complete every activity.

Ok cool. Thanks. The game has been a lot of fun so far. I like the combat and driving.

People should get the game just for the Borat bikini. Also, take off all your clothes and see what happens. :)

The controls are missions are so much better than GTA4. It's just plain fun and coop makes it even better.

Have 50 hours logged in this game and it still doesnt get old. Having problems on the injury one. I cant pass level 3 in the factory district. anyone have any tips on getting a big hit?

It got old once i hit 75 hours. But its still a good game.

Why in the hell won't APOOP come out on the dance floor so I can kill him? I've been waiting here forever, but he's not showing up.

I waited on the dance floor and then went back up stairs and he was up by the bar.

Is anyone up for doing some co-op missions later tonight? I've already beat the game but was looking to pick up some of the co-op achievements.
It got old once i hit 75 hours. But its still a good game.
yeah i feel ya. Once i can finish these Co-Op achievements ill think ill be done with it but yeah good game nonetheless.

I have yet to do any co-op stuff, so count me in. I've been saving the Sons of Samedi for co-op after realizing you need to co-op EVERY MISSION for the points.

How do you get the "going the distance" achievement? I''ve been throwing people off into the ocean, off into the highway, etc and I still haven't gotten it yet.

I just
killed off the Brotherhood
Good stuff so far.

Do the celebrity security guard side mission, and there will be an airport where you can launch someone off a conveyor belt.

Ok. I think I've done a couple of those but none at the airport.
