Saints Row $35 trade-in until 10/5 at EBgames

i actually haven't decided whether I'm trading it or not, i was just getting the word out to those who might not've gotten the message from EB.
 
I got the same message today, but I never bought it (I put $5 down on the pre-order to get the demo, but decided to wait for a drop or two).
 
I got the call as well and I am not happy... I only gave them my number to call me when my pre-order has come in. I don't want to get tons of calls with stupid trade in deals.

I've recived 3 calls from them in the last two days. None of those calls were for pre-orders. its really starting to piss me off. "Hi, this is Aaron with Gamestop/ebgames..."

I mentioned this when it first started during Kingdom Hearts 2... they are using the preorder numbers for their little telemarketing crap. It's legal since we gave them our number, but highly annoying.

I gave them my cell number so it dosen't bother me at home.
 
The day the local Gamestop calls me is the day the local Gamestop gets a molotov cocktail thrown through the window.

Seriously, it's bad enough that your employees don't know what a Sega Saturn is (just one example of the rampant ignorance) and try and get me to preorder stuff, it's a whole different level when you call me at home when I'm minding my own business.
 
dead rising is also 35......but since i put down money on gears of war i got an extra 30% trade in, i also traded in animal crossing ds


i ended up getting

i fucking hate the calls i get "hi this is ____ from gamestop and ebgames. i just want to ask you some questions about your last visit with us..." like, fuck man, please leave us the fuck alone. ask us when we are in your store and i will say you have horrible customer service and your employees are retards. i put up with it the first time until i realized it was taking forever, so i hung up. i've got 5 or 6 calls on my cell and i got the one for saints row. i didn't even buy kingdom hearts 2 at eb/gs and i got a call about that one too.

back on topic...
the trade in price is pretty sweet though.

Just wondering, but with 30% bonus trade-in, shouldn't you have received $45.50 for Dead Rising & Saints Row?

$35 + 30% GI coupon and Edge card brings it close to $50. That's not counting if your able to do 3 for $10 with it.
