Sales at Target

I have a Gift Card for Target and was looking to buy Kingdoms of Amalur : Reckoning.

I noticed that newegg and TRU lowered their price on the game to 44 dollars. Can I ever expect Target to do something like that or would I just be waiting around forever? Pretty much I'm asking if I should just pull the trigger and buy the pre-order now instead of waiting around for a price drop that might not even come. If only they could pricematch to such stores.

I've never really seen target participate in any of the price-dropping sales that some of the other sites have but then again I'm a scrub CAG so I'm looking for advice from the pros here.

Target's price-matching policies state that you must bring in an AD with the competition's lowered price and that Target.com is excluded from price matching. Was hoping to get it over the site but I guess if I happen to find the deal in the TRU ad tomorrow I might do it in store.
