Since when is $99 for any DVD boxset a deal? I don't care if its shaq fuing Star Trek, its still a bloody ripoff.
I dont know if its like the boxset i saw, but if it is, it might be worth it. Lots of discs, great design of the case (if you like that stuff), probably many extras. I personally wouldnt spend that much on ANY DVD set (particularly when you could watch it in syndication every day), but the trekkies are crazy.

When are we ever going to see a deal on Futureama season *2*??? I've had season 1 forever now, but don't want to pay the $30-$40 I see 2 going for these days.

Which is what I don't understand. I wouldn't mind paying $50 a season on any Star Trek show - that's reasonable. But $100. No thanks, I don't care if there are "hours of extras" and if they even throw in a nude standee of Seven'o'Nine... I still won't shaq fuing pay that much for it.

I agree that $100 is a lot for Star Trek, and I hope they lower the price pretty soon. Fox did lower the price on the X-Files, but even at $70-$80 a season its a lot for a TV show. Maybe Paramount will follow Fox's example.
Also OP you need to say what Star Trek series your deal is. 3 different Star Trek series have 7 seasons.

100$ is totally ridiculous and has nothing to do with production value, they have it set at that price because there are plenty-o trekie nerds willing to shell it out.

The Freaks and Geeks boxed set is the most expensive I have purchased, it came out to around 40$ has great production value and is worth just about that. I cant see any tv series being worth over 50, unless it is perhaps an entire series, or very long (like MST3K)

Hmm I might get end of evangelion if its 5 bucks off.
Good idea, I'm thinking it'll look nice next to my Platinum copies ...

... but doesn't Sam Goody have really expensive prices to begin with? Seems like the $5 off might not be such a great deal.

wow..24 for that price. Hope it is that price when I go tomorrow. I just got into this show. It is very interesting.

It's been showing up at various websites for 14.99 or 19.99, so, if I were you, I'd wait a little bit.

I managed to get it and Millennium season 1 for about 28 dollars total from the original Amazon.com 15 dollar boxset sale.

Yes it is season 1 for 24 and it should be Star Trek Voyager: Complete Seventh Season. I overlooked there was 3 different Star Treks x.x. But it had a deep purple color box and checking online Voyager seem to matched it.
