8 gig ones have been out for a few months, but they're $999 each. Might as well get yourself 16 of the 4 gigs for the same price.

4GB sticks are only guaranteed to run error free under the most recent firmware (official). Emulated firmware still has problems with them. Still, at around $15 / gb, this is a great deal for no MIR.

Yikes! I never said I was stealing them - I HATE long load times. Putting the game on the memory stick makes everything way faster and is a lot less draining on the battery because nothing is spinning.

Plus, stealing (larceny, actually) involves the taking and carrying away of someone else's personal property with the purpose of depriving the owner of its possession and downloading doesn't fit that definition at all. If I were downloading games or whatever (which I'm not) I'd probably be commiting a copyright infringement (but even that's still arguable depending on the source of the download). The RIAA and other IP-based companies sure have done a good job at misinforming the public. ;)
 
Wow just a week ago these were going for $85 after rebate and now there down to $64. I'm definitly in for one, thanks OP.

4gb works with 1.50 fw, anything above 4gb doesn't work under 2.80 fw (if I recall correctly)

Who the hell doesn't run pre-loaded games off of the stick? I bought all 40+ of my games, but I don't load a single one off of the UMD because the loading blows.

Getting the same problem, there's only 3 options for shipping (Standard/2day/Overnight, from $6 to $27). Something is messed up.

Ive been using a 4gig since June of 05, they work just fine on every firmware.
 
I've got a 4 gig with anime on it, and a 2 gig for music. Both work JUST FINE on my 1.5 PSP.

4 gig sticks work fine with 1.5 FW

Funny thing is...I didn't even get in on my own deal. I guess I just don't have $65 to throw at another Memory Card....my 1GB is fine for now...but I'm still tempted.
