That is a grinch and it is a Little Pony ornament.

I was dressed as Santa because I played one at a lights display in my town. I took the job to get extra cash for my soon to have 1080p LCD. Made close to a grand for a few hours of sitting on my ass and having a few college girls sit on my lap.

(Downside: had a few fat kiddies on my lap too.)
