OK so it's the trade in 2 titles and pay and extra $20 for either FF 13 or GOW 3

is this different from the god of war one? I'm a bit confused because I noticed they removed Bakugan and SPore Heroes on Wii for the FF 13 deal (which are 400 pts each on goozex) I was planning to get these 2 since I have so many pts :cry:

Besides, youre only getting $20 per game traded in. Why not just trade the game in normally and get the 50% bonus from GS, then buy the game?
 
To be fair I'm almost certain some of those games aren't worth even close to a $20 trade in value anymore like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm or Uncharted.
 
ok I didn't see this posted in the other GS thread, but can someone answer my question reguarding the GOW 3 trade in deal and the other trade in deal FF 13 + GOW 3? Since it has 2 Wii games removed (Bakugan and Spore Heroes) for the new promo
 
This is not a deal, its equivalent to them raping someones backside and them leaving with a smile thinking they got a good deal. And if your smiling your not a cag lol.

If a game is removed its no longer eligible if that's your question.

Oh thank god ... I can finally get rid of my wii fit with balance board and copy of Mass Effect 2 ... that'll bring Final Fantasy 13 right down to my price range of $20 plus tax! Totally doing this tomorrow!

you are really giving up ME2 for $20? Put it on craigslist and I Bet you can get around $40 for it
 
hmm, lookin at the titles I see a couple that will net me some green. not a lot but it's better than full retail.

ok, I lol'd at this. Still, some may find a good deal. Use clearance games or games with low trade-in value for the two trade-in. Then use the 50% trade-in deal to get lots of scratch for the ones with higher TIV, and use that for the extra $20. It's a lot of work though.

Not necessarily, I could trade in The Punch-Out I got from Sam's Club for 8.81 + break even with Press your Luck or Price Is Right. Not going to since I already have FF13 reserved and will wait on GOW3 but there's a couple of deals hidden in there.
 
Check your amazon trade in too.. I was thinking about this but Amazon will give you 34.50 for MW2 and 15.00 for Tales of Vesperia (Both 360 games on the list) and give you a 10 dollar credit for FFXIII, so I get FFXIII for the 2 games, rather than for the 2 games + 20 bucks.

I know there's deals to make use of this type of promo if you work for it; but I stand by my prior statement as it was too funny not to post.

Yes, for a lot of those games, this deal is crap, but for two games that I'd get crap trade in (like Super paper mario, and Mario and sonic ATOG (the first one) this deal is pretty decent.
 
Went and did this last night, traded in Uncharted 1 and Fable 2. The cashier said it would be better if I just traded them in for the 50% thing, but I had looked at the TIV before I left, and it wouldn't have been $40. lol
