SAW 4 have you seen it?? and like it
I saw it last night, the ending made no fucking sense. The first 3 had better endings, part 4 was just awful. Plus part 3 and 4 were just gorefest compared to 1 and 2.
When I've not even seen it and just read the spoilers, I understand it. It's links the stories of the first 3 movies. Which I guess if you haven't seen one of them, then it might be a little confusing. But it's more about wrapping up loose ends from the past 3 films than being a mindless gorefest.
Well, I just watched Hostel II last night and I must say, Saw IV is one of the greatest movies ever made compared to it

Moral of the story- It could always have been worse.
hostel 2 was more of a background of the place who runs it what its like ect.

I wonder how much extra they had to pay that one chic for being naked.

Ummmm everyone else is going to keep their clothes on and have off camera deaths but for you we need you naked and hanging upside down LOL

is that the same person who played in welcome to the dollhouse
I respect Saw. The original is a fantastic horror film on a tiny budget. They hit all the right notes and there was hardly any gore in it. In fact they didn't even have any money to incorporate gore effects. The majority of the violence was left to the audience's imagination and terrific direction. It's like Psycho where everyone imagines that they actually see the woman in the shower get stabbed when they never show that happening in the film.

The rest of the series is soulless shit.
Agreed 100%. I tried to use that exact same "Saw is just like Psycho" argument against my film studies teacher last year, but she was too ignorant and stupid to listen. She refused to watch Saw to see what I was talking about. I even offered to lend it to her so she wouldn't have to waste money renting it.

As for Saw IV, it looks terrible. I really liked this franchise at first, but now it's clearly just trying to appeal to the MTV generation. I enjoyed the second one also, but I'm aware that it's a terrible movie. I saw the third in theaters and it sucked, and I'm avoiding number four completely. Maybe I'll catch it on DVD. Maybe.

Just saw it an hour ago; wasn't all that bad, but it wasn't very good either. Mediocre fits it very well.

Now they finally wrapped up the original Jigsaw arc, expect Saw 5-20 to absolute shitfests.

Ugh, that scene where she's hanging upside down and
that woman killing her is like showering in her blood
That was one of the stupidest scenes I've seen in a movie.

For all those that don't know, Tobin Bell has signed on for seven Saw movies.

This franchise won't be going away anytime soon.

That's precisely the moment that I realized the movie was terrible. People were leaving the theater...

I knew they had plans for at least 7 Saw films, but how the hell is Tobin Bell coming back for THREE more films? There's only so many flashbacks (and flashbacks in flashbacks) they can do, especially after the fact that Saw 4 pretty much gives us the origin of Jigsaw.

i heard a while back that at least 2 or 3 of them were going to take place before part 1 but I dont see why that would be needed now since part 4 really filled in any holes that most was wondering about.

maybe it will show him training other people how to make the traps and like you said mainly flashbacks.

maybe it will go back to when he was a teacher ? when he wrote those books ect. Also there are just so many differnt ways to make traps before it comes lame. i mean there really wasnt no Major traps in part 4 that made you sit up like the first ones

there was like what 3 or 4 traps in the whole show??

hair, Eye, spikes and ice block

anyone also notice none of them were really that good. like none of these traps were even set up like jigsaw would of sat up.
