Seagate 120GB HD $39 BB Thurs-Sat

Well shit, I hope my local BB has these tomorrow still. Really scraping by this week due to overspending on Xmas shopping and I my pay doesn't go in until midnight. I thought the 160GB I picked up for $90 out the door a few years back was good deal, and with only 30GB left, I need another HDD. Here's hoping that the locals missed this deal.

I got a 3rd one pricematched at CC . Cost me $37.00, even the clerk admitted it was a great price considering they have them for $90.00.

SWEET I just called the store (website sold out) and asked the girl to hold me 2 of them WHOO HOO thanks for this!! My Chip for my XBOX will end up costing more than this huge drive! :applause: :applause: :applause: :bouncy: :bouncy:

I do have a question...Im not sure..Whats the Size of a retail PS2 and XBOX HDD?? Is 120 a substantial Leap?

thanx OP

The PS2 one is 40 gig with FFXI , and I've heard the Xbox one is as low at 8 gig but i'm not sure if I trust the source.

I'd like to thank the OP for posting this deal. I almost bought a 120Gb HD off newegg.com last week for double the price of the one in this deal but I'm glad I waited. It was sold out online by the time I read the post but there was PLENTY in-store (around 30-40) when I went there today. Had no problems installing on my Mac and I'm loving all the new extra space I have for porn and roms now!

Xbox was 8-10, depending on what was put in.
How do you get CC to PM without an ad inhand?
YMMV.

Some stores require the physical ad, some don't. Just tell them that the price is $40 at BB and that they can call to verify if they wish. I've actually had someone PM for me at CC when I had no ad and they didn't even call, just trusted me and rang it up.

Had a ton at my local store, not advertised, if i have enough power cables i may pick up one more to put on my IDE 3 channel

Thx OP

Not really. Xbox was 8. No more no less. While they did use some 10GB drives for a short while, they were only partitioned to 8. So regardless of when you bought an Xbox or what HDD manufacturer was used, you got 8GB and that was it.

I would like to thank you again for posting that sale! I ran into typcial BestBuy Idiots tonight and had to visit another store because they sold the ones I had put aside (i can understand that but they were total morons the way they handled it. But I understand. I worked retail. Oh well)

I also used the mentioned coupon on EACH drive at the register. I walked out of there with 2 Seagate 120GB HDD for $76.30. That How much my Mod CHip will cost! LOL. I also handed out copies of that coupon to people at my office.

FYI

As of 7:15-ish tonight (12/15/05) They Had 19 more of these in Stock at the ROCHESTER HILLS, Michigan store on Rochester RD at Auburn Road. The LakeSide Store was wiped clean.:D
Best buy in Redwood city, CA still has plenty. I picked up one beside 200 GB MAxtor external HD ($99.99)
wah orang indonesia yah? ORANG INDONESSSIIIAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

aku juga indo. gue indo cina. luh?

Anyone PM anywhere other than CC? None available within 100 miles. Compusa has a ton, but they only PM if the other store has it in stock (which never fucking made sense to me anyways)

You might try Wal-Mart. Their website lists the 80GB and 160GB versions, but not the 120. Maybe they carry it in-store though, who knows. Or you could just pick up a 160 and PM the BB ad......since it's Wal-Mart, they may not notice/comprehend.

My walmart didn't have any 120s, just 80 and 160. And I thinkg Circuit City is getting wise to the PM'ing. Mine didn't even have any shelf space cleared off for 120s and now cc.com is showing them as being unavailable in all local stores. Kinda curious if they just pulled them all to avoid PM losses or if they truly just don't carry it in-store anymore. you can buy online, but no way to PM.

Ow, can't believe I missed this, it would've been perfect for a friend. Any similar deals going on, on Western Digital or Seagate hard drives? Best Buy's got that model all the way back up to $95.

I hate to bump this, so I'm only doing it once... anything like this currently or coming up again soon, maybe on Thursday perhaps?

Not really. Cable management may be easier, but hard drives still have yet to fully saturate the aging ATA100 spec.
