Seagate has announced that the discounted prices for the 1tb ($150) and 2tb ($280) are permanent. So, unless you want it now, it's best to wait, if you want to save some more. With Western Digital soon coming out with their versions, I'm hoping the seagate 2tb gets a sale price of around $220 sometime this year.
