Sears Clearance Thread - Spring 2007

The old Sears clearance thread was almost a year old, so I've taken the liberty of creating this one. I went back and wrote down the drops and lowest reported prices so far for all of 2007. The games may ring up more or less for you as prices are YMMV (your mileage may vary). The games should ring up at some sort of clearance price at every Sears store that carries games. They may not be tagged on clearance at your store, so you should have them scanned to find out what they ring up as. My local Sears rarely tags the clearance games, so I have to refer to this list. Games drop out of the system about a month after they hit $0.97.

Some clearance games at Sears were restocked over the holidays with new UPC stickers over the original UPC. These are ringing up $9.99-$19.99 as marked for now.

These prices are good at Sears, Sears Essentials, and Sears Grand stores.

In my experience, the list of clearance games at Sears isn't YMMV, but the specific clearance prices are (prices drop at different speeds at different stores. Also, people keep complaining that the clearance games are ringing up $15-20 at their stores. If they would actually read this post, they'd know that's because those are restocked holiday games with new UPC tags. The old stock of those games should still ring up on clearance if you can find them.

FF IV (GBA) - 4.97, the sticker underneath says 21.97 so I'm surprised at this big drop
Donkey Kong Country 2 (GBA) - 4.97, same as FFIV
DOA 4 (360) - 9.97
Mario Party 7 (GC) - 9.97
Sony PSP 1800 mAh battery - 2.97, sticker underneath says 7.97
Sony PSP AC adaptor - 2.97, same as battery
Sony PSP battery charger - 2.97, same as battery

If anyone bought those PSP accessories for 7.97, you might want to see if there was another price drop at your store.

Damn I might have to take my reciept back to my store and see about the price drop. I bought 4 of those PSP batteries and they came up $7.97 each. I think some of the other accessories I had came up $2.97...

LOL The Shamokin Dam Kmart looked like someone had cleaned out the game cases, then forgot to put back 90-95% of them and the one in Williamsport was BLEH compared with even my local ones. Oh and I sent you a PM about RG......

I will stop by my local Sears store tomorrow to check if there have been any October drops. Last time I went they had original Xbox Live 12 month subscription cards, FF IV advance, Castlevania Portrait of Ruin, Ape Escape 3 and Metal Gear Acid 2 all more expensive than the prices that have been reported in this thread.

Found a couple DS Magnetica (highly underrated puzzle game) and ...drumroll please....a couple PS2 Suikoden V....
Both titles rang higher than another store...
Signs everywhere about matching competitors...plus 10%...so I asked what about other Sears local locations??? Staff member replied ... "well, we should..." So I take a chance and drive home for my receipt from the other location and wallah! PM'd PLUS 10% lol on both titles!

whoa...locals. when did you go to the shamokin dam kmart? i went last monday and friday and they had lots of stuff on monday and a decent selection on friday. on monday they had multiple copies of all of those rpgs like rogue galaxy and disgaea 2...there was still a copy of each on friday night, but i passed and placed them together at the top with the gba games to make them clearly visible so somebody who cared would hopefully get them at the good prices.

i picked up various 360 games and hotel dusk, and my brother and cousin each grabbed a 20GB 360 hard drive for $17.50 each.
