I've been rethinking my policy on buying systems. No system that hooks up to a TV can be shipped cheaply. A GC can be shipped in a box that will hold 20 current gen games. For PS2 and Xboxes, at least $10 are being used to ship a system to me. It seems to be a waste of time and money.

For the most part, I've used most systems to help me clean out games that couldn't sell individually. The theory is that bulk lots get $5 a game when a system is lumped with them. It is what I've observed in other peoples' auctions. However, my auctions seem to get $3 per game. Since I don't want to employ shill bidders, I think I'm stuck at $3 per game. I can't justify spending an additional $40-$150 on a console when it doesn't earn me any more profit per game over a bulk lot of games.

Here's the new policy:

1. I'll sell any system, but I'm selling it for a 15% commission of the gross including shipping.

2. I'll list the system as a 7day auction style listing with a starting bid of 99 cents.

3. The owner of the system sets the shipping and handling costs.

4. The owner of the system sets the starting time and day of the auction.

5. The owner of the system is responsible for all pictures of the system.

6. The owner of the system is under no obligation to answer any questions about said system from any bidder or potential bidder.

7. The owner of the system may employ any tactics to inflate the final price, BUT must not inform me of their use.

8. The owner of the system is responsible for all shipping costs including shipping and delivery confirmation.

9. The owner of the system doesn't get paid until the buyer receives the system in a satisfactory condition.

10. The owner of the system can be paid via Paypal or money order. Any Paypal fees are the responsibility of the owner.

What are the advantages of this system?

First and foremost, I guarantee myself roughly 9% profit after Paypal fees, listing fees and Ebay's Final Value Fees.

Second, the owner of the system guarantees himself or herself the most for their system.

Third, shipping costs are no longer a hinderance to the owner of the system.

Fourth, the owner of the system is using the reputation of an Ebayer with over 3000 feedback (me).

It was working fine until I attached my bank account to it to get it verified, when I get the two deposits, I couldn't log on to the site to submit the info, My account had "suspicious activity, and has been locked with a Permanent balance of 0.00 USD" I sent numerous emails, which didn't even GO THROUGH. :bomb:


I can ship out Monday, Priority with DC.
