second shipment already!!!!!

They said it was a matter of time before the Wii's come in.

So I called every hour and now they hang up on the sound of my voice :(

I really want a Wii though for Thanksgiving party!
Funny had no problems finding Zelda, local Target has a stack even now.
the TRU I just got back from had a whole display tower full of em (roughly 30 or so)
I find it hard to believe they're completely clueless as to when more are coming.
If you've ever worked gaming retail before, you'd realize that not EVERYTHING has an exact date of coming in. People assume because it is a console that all retailers have an immediate date to when things come in.

Some do, some don't, it's just the nature of the beast.

Good luck to everyone looking to get a Wii.

Agreed.

I remember I heard this same shit when Xbox 360 came out and I worked VG retail... workers have no clue when more systems are coming until they roll off of the truck.

The only thing that ever has a date is the first run of products... restocks are random.

Does anyone know how Walmart goes about restocking systems? Do they put them on the shelf as soon as their shipment arrives, or do they wait to do it at a certain time? I want to know so I can get there as they arrive if possible. I know someone who works there and can get me a 10% discount on everything.
Walked in today to look at TVs in Best Buy, and they had Wii's.

I took one home. Yipee!
Yup, I just came back from my local Best Buy and they were selling Wii's back and forth. They had them at the Guest Service Desk and not on the shelf. I almost bought one but I contained myself since I have to use that money to buy Christmas presents for my family.

Call your nearest BB right now!

I got a PS3 at Best Buy today, but no Wii's. All the EBs here in Maryland say that they will have some units when the store opens on Black Friday, I guess they are holding them. They printed it in their BF flyer so they have to stick to it. Hope I get one :).

I work at walmart and i will know when they go in transit, and the second shipment of 30 is still showing up as " on order" at my store.
