I'm having a kind of weird problem right now. Internet Explorer and Firefox can both connect to the internet, however secondary ones like AIM, Limewire, or ITunes cannot connect. Also, when I try to open up Windows Firewall in Network Connections, it says that due to an unknown problem, Windows cannot display firewall settings.

Try doing a system restore to an earlier date before you started having the problem.
Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore

It could be a virus or spyware with the problem regarding the Windows Firewall, but I would tend to think that would affect IE and Firefox as well. You might want to run a virus and spyware check just in case.

That is a starge problem. I would guess virus on this too. If you are on a school network or something I might check to make sure they didn't start blocking certain ports as my old college had some strange port blocking on their wifi. That kinda sounds like another logical reason for that to happen.
