could be a good way to go if your looking at trading the games back in by the end of year.

Someone who doesn't take care of their games maybe? Or somebody who has kids...somebody who lends games out to friends...etc etc

You could just stick the receipt inside the game case. This way you never lose it.

Someone with enough of a backlog they might not test that game out for 6 months and still want to be able to return a defective copy.... that's my reason, anyway....

Yeah, after seeing what some kids do to their games, I think it's not a bad idea if their parents bought this.
 
At 50 bucks a piece, you would need to ruin about 7.5 percent of your games for you to even break even. That's doesn't take into account the likely cheaper cost of rebuying the game late, not caring about the game (ie. madden 2001), and what probably happens 90% of the time, losing the receipt.
