I recently bought Shadowrun for the Genesis.
But for some reason I cant save my progress onto the cart.
I am able to load the 2 saved games that are on the cart from the previous owner, which leads me to believe the battery is still good (I know thats how snes games worked, I assume the same for genesis) but I cant save a new game over either of those 2 save files.
Is the game cart just bad? Does Sega offer a way to send it in to get a new battery or fix whatever problem I have?
Could it be my console? Its not in the greatest shape but seems to work fine.
Do I need to do some console trick to erase the data on the cart (ala N64 Bast Corps) if thats even possible?
Any help would be appreciated.
