Sega Master System
The Virtual Console needs SMS games. I wonder if Nintendo would dare put SMS games alongside NES games. Phantasy Star without having to worry about the cartridge battery dying would be great.
I'm starting to sound like a broken record ;), but Phantasy Star is on GameTap. So is II, III, and IV.
Picked up Zillion today. They tried to get me to buy Zillion 2 also, but I as told Zillion is way better. Also bought Marine Wars (2600) instead of Kenseiden because they have 2 Kenseiden's left. I also saw Rampage, Dick Tracy, Thunderblade, Afterburner, Golden Axe, and a SMS system with Red Box art.
Red Box Art? Get Golden Axe, sorta rare. Rampage is fun, if you got a buddy. Dont chill on that Kenseiden for too long. Actually, maybe you can pick one up for a fellow CAG? You said its $5 a pop right?

You should grab Zillion II - The TriFormation as well. It totally different from the first one, but it's still a good action game. Here's some more stuff quality stuff I'd recommend:

Action Fighter - good Spy Hunter rip-off
Blade Eagle 3-D - Top down shooter for the 3-D Glasses.
Gangster Town - another great Light Gun game
F-16 Fighting Falcon - Sega Card flight sim. Won't run on the Power Base Converter, so you'll need an original SMS.
Quartet - coin-op shooter with some added adventure elements.
Teddy Boy - another Sega Card game. Shooter with scrolling play fields.

Allow me to heap more praise on the previously mentioned Golvellius, Ghost House, My Hero, Transbot, etc.

The extra lives cheat at the R-Type continue screen was the SHIT! My dad bought me a big ass arcade joystick and doing the circles was easy as hell!

I loved that pretty much any pc game pad could be plugged into the master system and used.....those were the days

Ill check on that Kenseiden, they really do have tons of Master system games (he says I am the only one that bought them so far, with maybe another person buying a few). I haven't played any that I bought so far from them, but once I finish up Final Fantasy XII, Dragon Quest VII, and Super Mario Galaxy, the SMS is going back into rotation as I tackle Phantasy Star (about and hour in) and mix in all the games I have bought from the PNT. I went from 6 SMS games to 13 in the last month. Here's hoping that they discount the games if they continue no to sell. Right now I have an extra Shinobi (with box) because I found one in better condition at a thrift store if anyone is interested.

Today I finally purchased Kenseiden and Moonwalker. I will probably go back for Strider and Alex Kidd in Miricale World (it better be better than the Lost Stars). Today I also saw Ghouls and Ghosts, Outrun, My Hero, Fantasy Zone 2, and game in a Black Box, Shinobi (I already have 2), and Alien Syndrom (along with the games posted above). A few of the games had $10 tags on them for some weired reason. Its to the point where they guy knows me by name as he gave me first dibs on a ton of Dreamcast games he got in today. Unfortuanetly, there wasn't any of the Dreamcast games I am looking for in the stack.

You can also play Phantasy Star 1,2,3 on Phantasy Star Collection for Gameboy Advance and Phantasy Star 2,3,4 on Sega Genesis Collection for PS2. Also for those looking for Master System games without the system look for Sega Arcade Gallery for the Gameboy Advance. Includes After Burner, OutRun, Super Hang On, and Space Harrier.

Hey, read somewhere that Spellcaster was from an anime in Japan. How can I track that down? Also, look for Space Harrier. You will be happy. I feel it was more intense than Afterburner.

The anime is called Spirit Warrior.

Different than the PNT, but I got Altered Beast and Black Belt for $2 apiece. The PNT had a lot of stuff bought out, there down to a handful of SMS games now.

Stupid website! I just finished Zak and Wiki (awesome game BTW), and I just bought Burnout Paradise for my PS3. But thanks to yall and all this reliving, I have spent the last few days replaying Alf ( this game does really suck. What do you do?) Black Belt and restarted Ys: Vanished Omens. Why is Balck Belt so hard? And why is the music in Ys so damn good for an 8 bit system? Bring on the SMS on Wii VC so I can play em on my 52" AQUOS! Im sure they'll look horrible, but it'll have a nice home theater system attached to it!

The SMS lives on VC!

I purchased Zillion 2 today as well as Alex Kidd in Mircale World, or so I thought. Zillion 2 was complete and Alex Kidd had the Mircale World case, however, inside was the US (blue label) Shinobi World(!) with the Shinobi World manual! Needless to say, the only way this could have been better was if it was the US Sonic.

Black belt was awesome back in the day. I think back then the level 5 boss was freaking hard for me til I figured out you jump kick, fall back, jump kick, fall back and so on. Another way was to punch, fall back, punch ,fall back.
