You could get most of those games and more on the PS2 or PSP through the SEGA Genesis Collection. And it'd only cost you $10 - $20.

Although the fact that it doubles up as an actual Genesis/Mega Drive is rather nice, though.

Doubling as a genesis is kinda neat, tho $40 is kinda high for it.

Of course, I play emulators in hi-def on my xbox, and still have my genesis/segacd/32x combo :)

there is also a portable version (lets you play on the TV too) for the same price:

I can't decide if I should get one of these or not.

I have my old sega Genesis still hooked up and i am a sucker for these types of items.
Big old nostalgic softie I guess...
Any further discussion?

How is the screen on that portable unit in comparison to PSP or DSlite screens? Is it good or crap?
THoughts?
EDIT: I ffound this video of a review.. in japanese, but shows the screen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcVVK6v3HpU&feature=related

yaaaa...i'm pretty sure that's not japanese.

but anyway, thanks for the link. it's tempting

this is finally available, already spotted some negatives, it only has mono sound, and the controller jacks are too far apart, that makes it incompatible with some addons, I'm just gonna wait til this is cheaper

Aww, at first I thought it was another portable Genesis, where you could actually put the games in it.

Still great though, and if it had S3&K, i'd probably get the portable one... but the system is tempting though, to give my original games life again, since my Genesis died years ago.

And the video's in German for a fun fact.
