Sell my 360 to get a PS3?
PS3 originally had cross platform play with PC gamers, but that has now changed to a "maybe" in the future. Sucks
weren't they originally gonna do that with the ol' Dreamcast UT game, too? i wonder why they can't/won't do it?

I guess patches would have to be approved by Sony and that takes too long and would affect PC gamers where patches could just be uploaded without an problems so I guess they just don't want to cause any problems for PC gamers.
we just have absolutely no way of knowing that right now, and nothing produced thus far even remotely supports that theory.
I know it's easy to say, but it's legitimately true, I know a few people in the industry. Give them time with the PS3 it will happen.

Hell I know one programmer who just started out getting into the field and doesn't really code anything for the systems who said immediately when spec sheets were final and they got their hands on the entire thing that it would take awhile but the PS3 to use.

Even most general developers (not even the actual programmers speaking) have come out and said that, at the same time they just bitch because it's more difficult and humans by nature are lazy and want the easiest way out.

Pardon me, but we need to get back on subject here. We've addressed what to do with his 360, but the second part of his request was suggestions where to work considering there isn't much in his neighborhood. I don't know NYC. Do you?

Unfortunately, I don't know NYC at all.
Have any of your teachers offered up suggestions? Are there any malls accessible by public transit in 15 - 20 minutes? Starbucks or Peet's Coffee? Best Buy? J&R Music? Would a Gamestop/EB Games do? Blockbuster Video? A Dunkin' Donuts might work considering your hours -- those times of day, people would be more inclined to purchase coffee or a smoothie. At least you would hope that's all they want.
