sell xbox one for $250?

CAGiversary!
i have an offer to sell my white 500 gb xbox one & controller for $250.

i was then planning on using the $250 and trading in my xbox 360 and 360 games at gamestop toward the Halo 5 1 TB bundle.

should i do this? is this worth it? am i overthinking here?

I was probably gonna do the same/similar with my white ps4 & ps3 toward that Black Ops 3 bundle.

a part of me really wants both those bundles but then i keep telling myself why am i going through all this for something i already have basically?

blehhhh

what should i do?

then another part tells me to just hold off and be patient cos i know one day i can probably get that halo 5 1 tb like super cheap used like years from now

i would like to unload my 360 stuff soon though but maybe this isn't worth it....

i think i am just regretting buying into this generation of consoles too soon and now all these better bundles/deals are coming out and i have this backlog of games i am probably never gonna get around to playing and i don't know what to do with it all ahhh

An offer of $250 is decent for just the console without Kinect and one controller. I doubt you could get much more than that, unless you find just the right person who doesn't know the value of this stuff. I just sold my Day One for $225 (kept the Kinect) and used it to get the Halo 5 1TB. With the Black Friday deals just around the corner, the resale value is only going to go down from here.

If you really want the Halo bundle, I say go for it. If I'm reading this correctly, you have two 360s, a white 500gb and the one you want to trade into Gamestop?

There will probably be at least 1 more Halo game on Xbox One, and that will also get some kind of bundle.  It is still a lot of money for mostly cosmetic differences.  In a year or two there will be a slim Xbox One and you will be doing this again.

so would you guys say it is worth it to sell my curent xbone & and my 360 + games for an xbone upgrade now?

i'm a little disappointed to find the halo bundle doesn't come with a physical copy but i guess it's not necessary to have. the console & controller looks cool but maybe isn't worth the extra $100 honestly,

I'd agree that an xxxxx edition console isn't really worth $100. You could probably order up a vinyl wrap for less than half that.

If it were me, I'd skip it. A month from now you'll probably start finding used copies on Amazon for cheap.

$300 is way too much to expect, considering there are bundles with a couple games (or a game and a controller) for $350. If you can sell it for $300, great, but that person would be getting ripped off. Just the basic 500GB console with the hook ups and a controller is only worth between $200 and $250. Anyone who pays more than that is an idiot.
