I just sold an amp for $205 through a car audio forum. The guy only made 7 posts on the forum and made the paypal account the four days ago while we talked about the sale. He sent payment last night.
So I get the email from paypal and it says the guy is an unverified buyer but he does have a confirmed address and I am eligible under the seller protection policy.
So, my main question: I should be fine, right? I just have no idea what it means that he's an unverified buyer. Is it because he just made the account?

Also, after I sold the amp, I was ready to send payment to another person on the same forum to buy his amp--he has 10 references or so on the forum and nearly 5,000. But he is an unverified seller, so that made me back out not entirely because I didn't trust him, but because if anything went wrong in the shipping process, I didn't want to get screwed.
Anyway, I'm getting sick of doing high-priced transactions online. I hope that in the future, google or somebody else can set up an effective auction site that does a good job of protecting the buyer and seller.
